Actually since most of Spencer’s land was woods the corn should be the best corn it will ever produce. Mainly because the soil is full of moisture and loose that it grows very good crop.

When you mentioned the clumps with the cultivator, that is perfectly fine. Just let it do it because it's normal. I recommend cultivating last and before a rain to get rid of the clumps
