Hi Everyone, Andrews gear cutting class last year was outstanding, I highly recommend it, even if you never make a gear. I'm bummed I can't make the Bash this year, especially Phil's scraping class.. Wishing everybody a good time !

@@ShadonHKW It's the Tormek system. I'm using a 10" wet wheel. I can also bring the attachments to grind 6" jointer blades and 12 " thickness planer blades. I'm bringing two pedestal type grinders. One is just generac, the other is outfitted with very adjustable rests with 60 and 120 sugar wheels for HSS cutting bits. Wet grinding is slow, especially on larger sizes. You'll be able to free hand grind, then on the wet grinder we'll quickly see how close you were. The Tormek system also has attachments for sharpening wood lathe tools. Bring your block planes, bench planes, and old timey jointers. Does a good job.
