I love all the changes that you made in your kitchen in this video. The chairs are exactly what they needed. As far as wallpaper goes, I’m not a big fan because one of these days the trend will change again and wallpaper is such a hassle to take off of the walls. in my opinion, your dining room does not need it. But if you did choose to go with wallpaper, I don’t think you could go wrong with either one. You are absolutely my favorite home decorator to watch. I always get excited when I see one of your videos has been posted. Just makes my day!

The dining room chairs have looked good in all their reincarnations. I think that is likely because they are the right style chairs for your table, your decor and your vibe. Their latest look is good! The chicken is content in its new home and I am very glad your returned your corner cabinet to the dining room.

Love the paper you are leaning towards. It will not be too busy but rather give life to the walls as a very subtle background to anchor all of your lovely neutral things. The chairs look fantastic. Also love all that you’ve done in the garden.

I am a dark stain Lady myself. I think they look amazing I love the wallpaper on the right. It reminds me of block print and has a nice contrast to the bottom paint.

I love the wall paper. I literally purchased wallpaper a few years back, i too was a scary cat. My partner finally said, “are you going to put this up?” Well finally summer 2022 I put it up! and I’m telling you DO IT Andrea you will love it. It completely changed the look of the room and I love it. 🙋🏻‍♀️my partner was so impressed he is hard to please and a perfectionist he loves it….. please keep us in your prayers

I love the naturalness of your home, it's very Swedish. I don't normally like the neutral look but I do love your home. I think your kitchen is the best I've seen anywhere. Andrea, the wallpaper would be amazing in your dining room. Go for it!!! I do like the chairs a bit darker, good idea. I often use real and faux flowers and greenery together, looks like all is real, and I love the chicken tureen in your cupboard, but I think you should have gotten the duck basket too! You could try bleaching the little countertop cabinet to get the orange out!

I love your videos! My suggestion is try just one wall with your favorite wallpaper…as an accent wall to start with and maybe you can have the best of both worlds, your pretty wallpaper and your lovely solid wall color too!

Yes I love how the chairs turned out, now it goes very well with the light fixture. Vintage items are so wonderful to have regarding that sometimes there's not much of them out there, if you find something you like alot, grab it because you won't find it the second time.

I love the contrast that the creamy white walls give. It lets the eye rest, and I think that the wallpaper would make it too busy.

Your home is beautiful. I love everything you choose. Wallpaper…..I love both but the second one is my choice because the pattern is more open and simple. If you do wallpaper get the peel and stick kind because it’s so easy to put up. ❤

I think the wallpaper would add a layer of depth and organic richness in your home. Your decision to have natural wood, stone, pottery, flowers and greenery is all part of the feel. The wallpaper print is a neutral tone and I believe that it will provide visual interest in a very subtle way~ I must say I am biased because I love leaves...Can't wait to see how things progress in your lovely home~

Your chairs look beautiful! Great job. You are so brave opening stain in your dining room, on your pretty rug. I don't trust myself and only stain outside. As much as I love wallpaper, I just like the clean look of painted walls. I would rather get pattern and texture from linens, curtains, pillows etc. That way I can change it easily.

Part of the beauty of your home is the elegant simplicity of it so I can see why it’s hard to decide on wallpaper. But that wallpaper has a subtle pattern and is really beautiful with your paint colors Maybe you could try just putting it on one wall as an accent wall? Either way your home is beautiful

We are so alike!! I love the chairs, beautiful job. I thrifted the exact same blue ramekins at my favorite shop just a few weeks ago. When I was 1st married, in the early 70’s, I registered for those Pflatzgraff Heritage dishes. I had a full set. I no longer have it, but do have a few random pieces. Always loved them. I love how you display yours. Always enjoy your videos. ❤️

I really like the wallpaper, but I like color and pattern and texture. You prefer very subtle color choices and items with little or no pattern. I would suggest living with your wallpaper samples for awhile. I also like another person’s advice of just papering one wall to start with (maybe the one going into the kitchen or into the living room). As someone else commented, the chairs have looked good in every iteration. Love all of the flowers and greenery. The hen looks like she has always lived in your cabinet. She is the perfect centerpiece there. I am surprised you didn’t buy the duck basket for the cabin. He would have fit right in with all of the other ducks. I have baskets on top of my fridge (the large one holds our garden seeds), as well as a vintage iron and a bottle of wine that was my dad’s that has his last name (my maiden name) on it. I really like the table that you added to your living room that has the barley twist legs. Your yard is absolutely stunning! I have to say that I am quite jealous. Blessings!♥️

I too added my dried lime hydrangea’s to an apple basket an a beautiful cream chicken standing next to it, I struggled for a idea that would be the right choice after seeing your idea on frig top. I like the 2nd sample of wall paper, it will be less busy. You will end up with the right one of your choice it is you home. Fun to be one of you subscribers on your channel.

I love the chairs! Have you considered using a wall stencil instead of wallpaper? You could use the semi gloss version of your wall paint color and it would look beautiful!

I say yes to wallpaper. There was a time where that was a commitment due to the amount of work to put it up & take down but now it’s crazy easy, forgiving & nearly as easy to change as paint. I like it in very small rooms especially if it’s dramatic. Or as accent walls. It adds another layer of interest. But your simplistic clean but not boring look really works in that house. I’m very decisive but now I’m stressing for you b/c I don’t think we will make it any easier for you. 😂. Your finds were wonderful.

The chairs are beautiful, Andrea! The darker color definitely added depth. As for the wallpaper, perhaps try a stencil in a design that you are drawn to and some paint that matches the color you like and lightly stencil a portion of your wall or the whole wall and live with it for a little while to see how you feel about pattern on your walls. There are some really nice and inexpensive stencils out there.

Love the chairs and flowers. Maybe try the wallpaper on one wall . If it's too busy then you haven't spent much or wasted time taking things down and putting the paper up

Andrea, your home is so homey and cozy. I am not a minimalist by any means, however I admire those who are.... love the darker chairs... I have chalk painted and waxed many pieces when we moved 6 years ago. My dear husband of 44 years was quite perplexed, after about my 3rd piecehe was watching me and he says "I gotta ask you, you PAINT it THEN sand half of the paint off to make it look worn out?" I smiled and replied "yup. It is the distressed look I am going for". He shook his head as he walked away and said "carry on then". He sis tell me when he saw the finished product that he thought I did a wonderful job on all the things I worked on. I don't think I would wallpaper, as you said, I think it would make your dining room "too busy". MAYBE instead you could wallpaper the back wall of a cabinet... Even if you aren't sure about that, you can buy foam board measured to fit in the cabinet then add the wallpaper to that, so you can change it out if you decide you don't LOVE IT!

I think the chairs turned out great as it does bring depth to the chairs and the area without the too strong contrast of black. I also really liked the wallpaper on the left, which of course you won't know if you'll like unless you do it which is scary lol. I wouldn't think the pattern would seem busy when you look at it on the wall as a whole, I love the look of it! Maybe try one small wall and see how you feel.

I agree about flowers against stone. My home is lannon stone and my white roses look beautiful against it. Wallpaper can be overwhelming in a room if not careful. Mabe one accent wall. Rest it behind your shelves with the dishes to test for busyness. If nothing else you can always buy some pretty old frames and make the samples into wall art if you really loves the designs. Vicki

Your home is so beautiful and serene, very calming! I like the wallpaper sample on the right much better than the other one which I think would definitely be too busy. I think I would try it in smaller spaces before I would commit to the bigger area. Whatever you decide will be the best choice for your style. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home!

I love your walls as they are. I think it would look to busy and later you might get tired of the pattern. Your home is beautiful. I enjoy seeing the neat finds you add to your home.

I love how the chairs turned out. In fact, in the spring of this year, I did the oven cleaner technique on four antique chairs that are similar to yours. We haven't yet made over our kitchen so I held off finishing the chairs because I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave them as is, add a dark stain, or dark wax finish. Now I know what they will look like with the dark stain finish. Thanks!
