1. Yes, you are legally authorized. 2. Only for H1B support in future you need immigration support. For OPT or CPT you don't

When can we start applying for summer internships is USA from India?? I have a spring admit MS CS and my university is explicitly allowing spring students to do summer internship. Do we need university mail id or i-20 or admission offer letter to apply for summer internships?

I don't think you need i-20 or admission letter Usually some companies ask for 1 semester worth of unofficial transcripts from the university. Others don't require anything other than resume and cover letter.

how many hours can a student work during summer internship ? is there any hour limitation like 20 hours ? or can work full time ?

Under CPT work Authorization you can work for 40 hours per week

I have already gone under interviews hiring recruiter round with 3-4 companies but not getting callback thereafter from them. Is there something wrong or should I connect back with them?

Write them an email to ask when can you get the final result. If they still don't reply then tell them that you are getting a GSR job at university but you really want to join the company and like to work on the projects they are working on.
