I so appreciate these glimpses into your family strategies and just seeing how you guys find different ways to be parents while also pushing your individual projects forwards. I am currently a business owner and I am wracked with guilt by how much my own demands of me and the diminished time I have with my kids as a result. I am trying to be a great business owner AND a great mother at the same time and it feels as though these goals are at odds with each other most of the time. I realize I'm having such a hard time because the picture I had in my mind of the kind of person I would be, is clashing with who I have to be in the reality of things. It's great to see how you both find ways to reshape your life around your goals in a way that is unconventional but works specifically for you.

Divide and conquer. I did the same last summer - went back to Toronto with my 2 kids while husband stayed in France. While nobody around me understood it fully, we knew it was the best decision for us! The undivided attention transformed the kids, plus I had an awesome time with my fam and friends. I’m coming out of a 6yr relationship where my ex and I were able to communicate openly like the two of you. It's crazy that Ryu is talking and a fully grown human now. I guess it's been a year since Xya was born, but Ryu was a toddler with a bottle such a short time ago. As a mom, it's so crazy how much a child's brain will develop in only a year.

Its beautiful to always have an understanding in a relationship ❤️ .. I gotta admit though its usually always the mom that has to take the kids and this is nothing bad but that is usually how it goes, its the greatest gift everrrr buttt as a mom you can never just fully unwind for days because of the attachment to the kids..as moms we naturally nurture and love and provide and so on..its like moms can never fully just clock out of being a mom..plus mom guilt is real😂..all in all this is why it is amazing to always have a strong connection, bond, understanding and most importantly love in a relationship, especially with kids❤..im sure they both will gain something great out of their summers!!

Hi, I’ve been watching you for a while and I admire your knowledge and personality. I know that it is not my place and maybe you won’t even see this comment. However I just wanted to say that when I was 7-8 months old, my parents decided that I stay with my grandparents that were living in the same city my parents were in, so they can focus on their career. I stayed there until I was 4 years old and my parents would take me on weekends and visited me on work days, as much as they could. My grandparents were so loving and caring and I have the attention I needed from them. But after years of therapy, I realised I developer intense abandonment issues for not staying with my parents (especially my mom) for the first years of my life. So even if it might be a well thought decision to not live with both of the kids, I just felt that I want to share this with you, because I know that you are interested in psychology and maybe it is a perspective you didn’t think about.

So I'm alway singing along your podcast jingle, and often I tell myself I should look for Jared's music online, but I get caught up into things and forget. I feel like you are operating under the brand name that you have attached yourself to. There’s a responsibility you try to hold within that because you would rather uphold the things that you’ve preached to your supporters and the ones that intake the information that is put out, and you tend to forget that you're still human. No matter what responsibility you have over yourself or hold yourself accountable to, It’s to not rain on your parade, but it’s more of me saying you're not inhumane. You're a person who was born here, just like everyone else was. You go through the motions of the same things everyone else does. No matter how elevated you may try to come off in situations where you feel like "The Image" needs to be upheld, you have to be honest with yourself about the things you are feeling and understand that just because you’ve built this brand around this "Idealistic Image" of a different perspective doesn’t mean you are NOT allowed to experience or have the human experience. For example, I remember when you and Jared were talking about the relations outside of y'all's relationship and you said to him, If you were to have a baby outside of me, you would be like, "Tell Me More, and he replied, No, you wouldn’t be like that, you would be pissed," and I was happy that he actually held that light to you in reminding you that "you're still human. It’s very easy to get lost in something that you have been operating in for a long time, but that is why those key reminders are necessary in life, no matter what it is. Simply because it gives us the space to not be "ON" all the time, because that’s not realistic. No matter how much growth you’ve done in the deeper depths of yourself or what obstacles you've surpassed, A break is much needed; feeling your natural emotions is much needed; being human is much needed. People tend to live their lives like robots and only see the "Go" because they’re operating from a place of lack, fear, and every other low vibrational attachment that they have to work themselves out of and remind themselves that it’s okay to be human. It’s okay to be jealous; it’s okay to feel insecure about something; it’s okay to cry and not keep this tough exterior on for the world; it’s okay to be YOU. The name, the brand, and the entity are not who you are but merely parts of who you are. Always remember that.

That's cool that you frequently give each other space to grow but I can't help but feel Shan is only doing this because he feels he needs this. When he asked her if she felt like it was good for her too her body language completely changed. It appears she was looking for the good in the situation while still looking sad in her face.
