Thanks for watching. Yes distortion is always a possible issue with words angle lenses, but it doesn’t generally become an issue in the woodlands where there are few, if any, straight lines. Also, there is always the Lens Correction option in Lightroom if it does become an issue. Panoramas can also be more difficult to stitch together, but as long as there is sufficient overlap, the software usually sorted it out fine.

I have indeed "gone back" to Nikon, but have also kept the Sony as it is such a useful all-rounder ;-)
