I love seeing the curated collections of long-term collectors. In the early days we’re all gathering every plant possible but after several years it seems like people just pare down to the very best. I’m looking forward to that part of the journey. 😂

I wish that when you were taking tours of collections that you asked the plant “parents” what they’re secrets were for keeping their plants so happy/healthy/full and mistakes/issues that they were facing in plants that were struggling…more than where they came from. There was a little bit of this in the thrips/bath anecdote but it wasn’t described to an extent that it could be applied to those with the same issue.
