@@Mike-br8vb oh we got more than you see in this video. We drove around before we left and found some huge boulders of the stuff. I was barely able to pick one up and put it in the backseat of the car. I will share some pics on discord. That one was over 150 lbs easy.

That material is amazing! And so abundant! Whether you call it banded chert or agate, it's amazing and beautiful! It will make some awesome tumbling material and cabbing too! I bet you it polishes up beautifully and takes a high shine too! Chert and Jasper are basically the same material , just a difference in color, but it's usually every bit as workable as jasper is. And that stuff is gorgeous! Thanks for letting us get a glimpse of what you got! ❤

@@largent45 I will get it cleaned up next weekend and show some good. I’m in a fb messenger group for this place and some people share cabs and polished pieces they’ve made and it polishes great. I got one chunk that has to be 150-200 lbs. lol

@@upnorthadventureswithccc it’s a seriously awesome place. The owner Pamela was there walking around collecting herself. Lol. She didn’t want to be on the video as she was all sweaty and didn’t feel comfortable. But she was super nice. Clean up video and close ups to come next weekend.

That is a neat area, one of these years I hope to make it there...one of these years.. Jeff, you should know that no matter how much you collect or nice your material is, Vicki wins. My wife is not a rockhound like I am and she will always out do me, women have a better eye, plus you're married to them. so they win. I have some local to me material and some Arizona pet wood. Would you like some? Would like to give ya some.

Looked like a fun trip , lots of stuff to play with , i had some of it maybe mine was low grade but it was hard to work with , lots of pitting soft spots holes didnt tumble well at all , hopefully yall have some better pieces , thanks for taking us along
