Kevin did the same to Bowman
@who23092 жыл бұрын
Spoiler - When I watched this live my soul was crushed when first bowman got taken out, and then Kevin. I was rooting for bowman, and man that sucked when Kevin took him out. After that I was rooting for Kevin because I like him as a person, and geez he would have won the race if not for Kurt. I was so bummed Kevin lost. It was only worse when I heard Kurt's interview as he doesn't seem like a genuine or nice person really. Overall, the racing was exciting and I enjoyed it, though.
@vandersgarage46822 жыл бұрын
He was putting on the bad guy show, nothing more. He is actually pretty nice and as genuine as you can get. I actually cheered for Busch when he spun out Kevin. Kevin hit every car on the track on his way to the lead, including Bowman, he deserved what he got. And this coming from someone that has NEVER cheered for Kurt, or his brother, in racing.

Re Kevin and Leo's bump that took Kevin out of the #1 spot. We clearly see @2:47:32 Leo's car dropping off the track which caused his car jerk to the left BUT Kevin was also making a move toward the outside at precisely the same instant, contact happened that sent Kevin around and in essence out of contention for winning this one. That's just racing folks, unfortunately for Kevin but it was a no fault, no foul racing incident. WAIT,, did we hear that right? @2:48:47 we hear that the #21 car, Leo is sent to the rear of the field and Kevin retakes the #1 spot,, really? Did the track folks not see what we saw? As we continue watching, listening we're told that Kevin Smith retains the #1 spot @ 2:49:23,, what about the #2501 and #357 cars? They were not involved, they made clean pass's?? Kevin should not be happy with that call, he's a straight up guy and once he see's what we see he will be unhappy that the officials moved Leo to the back of the pack. That was not right.

I didn't purchase the online ticket this time, I wanted too, but I had a busy schedule, and usually you have released it earlier on KZfaq. Glad it was around Christmas. Thanks for the GREAT Christmas Gift, either way I knew who won after a few videos popped out before the full race! It was great to see all the action without the cuts however! The announcing is absolutely LEGENDARY!!! I was a decent fan of Nascar, but now it's turned into less of a sport and more of a pay to win it seems. Everything has become that slowly it seems. Mixing it up with all the drivers, such a diversified mix! Great idea who ever thought of this. I think a video about the Backstory of that would be great on the turn of events and how it all came together. I think a lot of us know most of it, but for those that are new to the channel! Would be an easy video and get a bit of traction maybe? Either way! HELL YEAH BROTHER!!! Sorry Kevin @ KSR, you almost had her!!! :D Kevin did great considering who was in his mirrors (what mirrors he had left)!!! :D

And one more thing, Leo from SXSBlog would have probably won had they not penalized him for spinning Kevin out. That was COMPLETE bullshit. Kevin spun out numerous cars to move up and never got penalized once. He completely plowed into Bowman and took him out of the race. I didn't see Kevin getting sent to the back of the pack and Bowman able to go back to the lead. A few laps later and Leo spins Kevin and gets sent to the back of the pack and Kevin got to go back to the lead? I don't mind penalizing overly aggressive driving, but at least be consistent with the penalties.

Now Kevin is close enough to make a move,, @2:42:23 Bowman is again forced to hit the binders just as Kevin is making a move to the inside, Kevin did not have time to brake so he hits Bowman's car wiping the front bumper and misc hardware off Kevin's car. In the jostling the left rear tire of Alex's car starts going down. @2:42:55 Bowman's LR tire is gone, he's out of the race as he spins out of control. We all saw @2:58:34 thru 2:58:37 Bush continues slamming Kevin's car and succeeds to push Kevin's car around and out of the race. In NASCAR, ANY form of motor racing that's call for a BLACK FLAG, #2501 Bush should have been DQ'd, that's all there is to it. This 2.4 Hour race belonged to Kevin.
