This is a hub blind . It doesn’t take much snow and roof will collapse. The windows are Velcro, in time they will shrink. Driving rain, you will get wet . Try and get zipper windows, rains, just close that window . It takes some education to put up and take down. Do your learning before opening morning.

The quiet door on this blind is super however mine did not keep all the light out. Not even close. Same thing with the back windows. Too much light coming through. You can use the zipper I guess to seal the door but I would rather not for the noise. The window material quality is questionable to me. Mine was frayed where the see thru material meets top and bottom. I had to restitch mine on all three windows right out of the box. I just can't see it lasting especially if you leave your blind out for the season like I do. I would suggest sealing the back window or make the flap larger with the right amount of toggles to close it tight or eliminate it totally. Get rid of the zipper on the door to save cost and add mode material and toggles to seal out the light. I would really like to see the addition of a shoot through mesh curtain on all three windows too. There seems to be a trend with eliminating this on a lot of blinds these days. Personally,I have little use for a blind without shoot through mesh. Some may feel different but that is a deal breaker for me. On the up side, the camo, rods, hubs, size, silent door option is all excellent stuff. I just wish these companies would give a little more thought right before the final design with today's blinds. They all seem to be missing a little something. With a little tweaking they can make them more universally appealing to all hunters. I'd be happy to pay a few extra bucks for a better overall designed blind. Thanks Patrick for your time! Hope you enjoy yours.

Looks fine for turkey but for big game, would be a poor choice due to very poor scent control - very airy. No bottom edge flaps, so you would have to dig up dirt to seal the floor edge gaps. Would also prefer more green in the camp pattern.Should have more brush loops, particularly more on the roof. Personally, I prefer a blind bag, the solution is to have a bag that is made with enough room for a blind to fit in. Anyway, having a blind bag with good shoulder straps allows me to put in a collapsable stool, etc. None of this would add that much to the price to have done right.

For big game I would go with a ghost blind honestly. These blinds stick out of place to easy for big game.

No floor flaps....too bad, I would have bought several, but nice wide floor flaps keeps scent in esp.if the ground isn't level. You can see the light coming through the bottom of the blind in many of the scenes in this video.

Does summit have a 2 person blind?
@patrickmcclurg54755 жыл бұрын
They have a "4" and a "3" person blind. However, their are different model is where 4 person is more realistic as a 3 person blind. And 3 person blind to fitting 2 people. I would map out the blind sq footage. I have the 4 person and its very very roomy.

Ok. thanks for the response. I like to stay as small as I can so I don’t look out of place in the woods.

Do you still have to spray this blind down or is there some water proofing?
@patrickmcclurg54754 жыл бұрын
@@StevenPfeiffer you could potentially spray it down. Blinds are never 100% waterproof. Most of where water gets in is where its stitched together. Make sure if you do make sure it doesn't have a "shine" reflection

I’m concerned about scent control. While inside, will I be able to smell whitetail deer, hogs, snakes, etc? (Just kidding. You should disable the comments part. Too many irritating armchair quarterbacks)
