@@Overused_Toothbrush Sun and Moon is not the same canon as Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which is not the same canon as the anime, which is not the same canon as the manga. And honestly, that's a good thing, otherwise you'd just be getting the same story over and over again. Now it's perfectly valid to prefer the game version, but saying they should "stick to the canon" is not a good argument.

*Game*: Gladion considers joining Team Skull. *Anime*: Gladion has zero interest in Team Skull. Even protects Alola's citizens from them. *Game*: No Ice type trainer whatsoever. *Anime*: Lillie is pretty much the Ice type trainer. *Game*: Sophocles, Lana, Kiawe, & Mallow are all trial captians. *Anime*: They're instead all students.

@@asheqabeer1798 During the aloha league Ash had a unevolved rowlet while hau's evolved into Decidueye First ash rowlet was knock out off the field that should have disqualified ash but they didn't Then when they did the final all out attack cliques and at first hau won but his grandfather said that ash was still in the game because apparently rowlet fell asleep and that just happened when the referee already said the final decision And if you didn't see the kanto(season 1) saga ash charizard got lazy and fell asleep and squirtle did too but hat because it was done by the opponent move during a battle thus that's a second disqualification and again they didn't And i think ash pull a cheap shot by having his rowlet finished off a already weakened Decidueye I heard the reason why rowlet had more strength left was because rowlet coat of Decidueye took most of the damage

I love how they had Lusamine not be a villain in the anime because they thought it would scare kids, yet they aren't afraid to have some of the characters' facial expressions be pretty scary.

Japan is a bit different though Watch some other kids anime and stuff can get pretty scary and dark at times. For a lot of the rest of the world, stuff for kids is lighter a happier. Less scary.

In the game reboot, Lusamine's character is slightly reform: she still wants to hurt Nebby, but she's doing it for a noble cause: Defeating Necromza. Its also why she doesn't get invited into Rainbow Rocket.

So because shes suddenly "noble" now she can't join but GUZMA gets invited, who had absolutely no goals whatsoever? Well, to be a trial captain but that seems to be about it. If we disqualify people based on noble goals then we wouldn't have much of a RR lineup because Archie and Maxie and probably Cyrus would all be gone.

Also, Anime: Lillie can't touch Pokémon Games: Lillie isn't a trainer, she say in the first part of the games that she don't like to see Pokémon battles, but she isn't scared to touch Pokémon, she already have one in her bag in the beginning, and that fact is only an anime element

It's REALLY DISAPPOINTING That Lusamine isn't a villain in the pokemon anime. I mean she's an awesome character nonetheless but still they should have kept her as the main antagonist, instead it's Faba that's the bad one?! When in the games he was team skull level of imcompetence, oh yea that reminds me, team skull don't do squat in the anime either. They'll probably screw up Guzma too and make him way too evil or just blatantly forget him all together......

Garry Courtney i prefer more anime lusamine, ver relationship with lillie is lot more relatable and the impact of seeing her being abducted is bigger than the plot twist in game which is kinda obvious after you see the first cutscene in game

I haven't seen much of the anime for sun and moon. So, I'm probably being a little biased to say I'd prefer the game version of Lusamine. I liked the idea of her going into a crazed obsession over ultra beasts. In the end of the game, you see a glimps of her true caring nature. Which makes me believe there's some form of trance that nihilego has/done to Lusamine (alurring her to only care about being with it). It would be intriguing if they give at least a glimps of game version Lusamine now that nihilego done carried off with her into ultraspace. Even if it's short lived. Just to see if maybe it is nihilego that causes her to be demented.

US/UM kind of clears some things out. How much in the first game was actually you and how much was the neurotoxins. You are nowhere near as crazy/ horrible in the ultra versions. BUT the things seen ARE of you own volition. Spoilers I got past the Aether part in UM, dialogue is nearly the same before hand, until I got to you. Also, no mega Lopunny?

I say the anime and the game takes place in parallel universes. So there is 1 universe where we have a kind and caring Lusamine, and another where we have an insane version. 1 universe where Gladion ain't team skull, and one where he joins team skull itself. 1 universe where all of ash's friends (mallow, lana, sophocles, kiawe) are students and another where they're all trial captains. So yeah, i guess that's pretty much it.

Thing is the Clefairy thing is kinda messed up when you think about it. I mean, imagine if Ash's Mom just chucked a Thunderstone a Pikachu while Ash wasn't looking. Both Ash and Pikachu (or rather, Raichu) would be justifiably FURIOUS. And the fact that Lusamine just laughs it off makes it so much worse because it's clear she's not respecting Lillie's opinion or even acknowledging that she crossed a line. Everyone paints anime Lusamine as the 'good' one but honestly I can see hints of the same personality traits that made game Lusamine a monster. They just haven't been turned up to 11... yet (Considering she's been kidnapped by a Pokemon with the canon ability to amplify people's latent feelings, I say it's probably only a matter of time).

It's not the same at all. It was Lusamine's Clefairy, not Lillie's. Also, the Clefairy was obviously happy to evolve, as is clear from it's reaction. So it's pretty much just Lillie being a selfish brat.

Lillie was a selfish brat who wanted a playmate, while Lusamine evolved a Clefairy that was 1. Her OWN POKEMON 2. Perfectly happy with evolving. How about instead of listening to a child, go along with what you AND the pokemon in question want. Lusamine is in the right in my opinion though

There is an incredible contrast to Lusamine in the games to the anime. In the games, she is a control freak and abusive parent who would willingly endanger Alola, if not the entire world, for her obsession with Ultra Beasts. She’s also a very strong trainer. In the anime, however, she’s an amazingly embarrassing mom who is so busy with her work, she kind of doesn’t pay attention to what REALLY goes on behind her back. She’s also rather weak Trainer-wise.

In the games, she was stung by Nihilego early on. In anime, it didn't happen up until shortly before the Motherbeast Incident. And, if Lilllie from the games is to be believed, pre-sting Lusamine was somewhat similar to the anime one.

Ultra Sun/Moon has the perfect blend of anime and game. The research has made her have a few screws loose, but after seeing Necrozma’s insane power for herself, she takes it down a few notches and learns to be a good mother again. Not like the game where she fuses with a jellyfish and forces Lillie to leave Alola to find her treatment and not like the anime where she’s full blown goody two-shoes. A nice, even blend of villain and hero.
