Exactly this, He touched me beyond his material death in ways no other human has done.. When I was completely lost he was my light in the dark to guide me back to this realm. I owe my life to Him. If He wasn't a prophet, how can anyone claim that anyone else truly was? Everything about this man seems like he was a prophet of our lifetime, not that titles matter, but just putting it out there..

i fell asleep listening 2 a sun ra LP after a while my dream changed and it seemed to be all about my judgement (saturn i believe is the planet of judgement and order) for the 1st time in years i got up without my back being in agony i could walk proprerly! i listened to 10 mins of his interveiw and was completely blown away iv'e spent over 20 yrs studying the nature of existance with little stirring of emotion but 10 mins of ra and i was in complete shock! im a white guy but i always felt black on the inside this guy is probably the real saviour of mankind the world needs 2 listen.

His music is amazing, spectacular, wonderful, marvellous, exceptional but his philosophy is incomprehensible, confused, inapplicable, useless and unworthy (as was Blavatsky's "philosophy" that he has been greatly influenced by her. Unfortunately, probably Sun Ra never read ancient Greek philosophy that would have helped him to create a more useful and realistic thought and practice and attitude of life).

It makes sense to me, if it doesn’t resonate, perhaps it’s not for yourself to understand instead of disrespecting his legacy by calling his ideas useless. They may be useless to you but they’ve transformed the lives of those who can hear what he’s saying

@@leighrowly1692 I wish his philosophy had really helped some people as his music helped me to live some wonderful hours. I admire him - for me is one of the 10 say best musicians af all times. But art is something totally diferent from life. But of course Sun Ra lived his life as he liked to the max. wthout hurting anyone. Yes, I'm sorry that I was a little harsh in my criticism because I can understand his specific spiritual path, since unfortunately he was inexperienced in the field of love and sex as his biographers have revealed.

He believes in a love that is beyond the physical, beyond this material world, the abstract world he always refers to is basically Plato's ideal realm, so how did you come to the conclusion he doesn't understand Greek philosophy?

@@pyruvicac.id_ There is no such love, beyond the physical, beyond this material world. Monks and nuns are not role models for ideal life. You must read Plato's Phaedrus (not only Symposium) to understand Plato's ideal realm for love.
