Thanks, I was looking for this for a long time. I bought this album at a Love Child Liveshow in Nighttown Rotterdam. But lost it during one of my many moves !

"smearing wetness between her fingers putting the handle of the knife inside" sung in a festive folly fashion. This was the first lyric that jumped out at me and I thought ...hmmm the cover on this album may be apropos. Love Barbara Manning though I plan to keep listening: I just realized she was in this band. Her vocals are featured on scissors (of course and it's a pretty nice and rockin' version) and I'm on the Wrong Side. Is it frantic folk, rustic punk...nah neither. I like it though.
