"Now is the moment for Britain to choose its future," UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak says while announcing a general election to be held on July 4. Sunak's call for a general election is a major gamble on an earlier-than-expected vote with his Conservative Party trailing far behind Keir Starmer's opposition Labour Party in opinion polls.

I think the furlough scheme was a mistake, employers should have looked after their employees, interest should have been frozen on mortgage and the public should have used some of their savings. Now our children will be paying our debt. There must be a smarter way.
