Happy Divine Mercy Sunday to all. Great homily on forgiveness. Yes, Our Lord can forgive us in a snap of our fingers, but it may take us humans longer to forgive others who have hurt us, but it will come in time. God gives us his "gatorade" which is His "graces" to help us "forgive" like He forgives. And when you forgive, you will feel the heavy load off your shoulders. God's Divine Mercy be with you all.

You are thr best Father Dave, your masses make mass a real experience. Your sermons keep my attention. Other priests cause my mind to shut down and miss the entire sermon. I never miss your sermons. There is obviously no God wanted you to be a priest and thankfully you listened to him❣️

This is a beautiful community of people sharing prayer and God’s love. May all receive the strength and healing they are searching for. Asking for Prayers for a special gal who underwent preventative surgery due to previous cancer. Prayers for the family with their beloved grandmother as well as our individual families and friends. Special prayers for the St. Martha’s community especially Father and his support staff. And, for peace in this world.

On forgiveness … my older brother used to like to punch me in the shoulder for his enjoyment but one day after the event I yelled “God Will Forgive You!!!” He never hit me after that. Go in peace! Thanks Fr Dave.

Father Dave, u r awesome. I watch u on Saturday & go to my Church on Sunday. I must be honest, I enjoy and learn more from you. May God Bless you always. He knows what I’m asking for. I talk to him and I pray daily. I also forgive people who hurt me in the past and still do it. I ask God not to punish them, but forgive them, and honestly if he has to do it to make them reflect, not to be so hard with them. I pray for my son, who I have seen 3 times for the past 3 years. We live 7 minutes from each other. I have begged him, cried to him, called, sent numerous messages, and refuses to have a conversation about the beautiful relationship we used to have , and whatever I did wrong, asked him to forgive me. In my heart I never did wrong, but loved, cared for him, protect him, gave him good examples. I know I wasn’t perfect, but I always tried my best. I ask God to get into his heart, and refresh his memory. It’s been a long time since I hugged him. This situation is destroying me, and hurts deeply, but I have faith things will change in God’s time. I ask him to give me patience. I pray for love, compassion, and understanding for others. From my heart please, I humbly ask to remember my son and I in ur prayers. God Bless U All!🙏🏻

Hi Fr. Dave. Great explanation of the Gospel and of forgiveness. I'll remember that analogy. Thanks for making things so easy and clear to understand, relatable to our everyday lives. My life has changed for the better with having The M Team with me. All of you have caused me to change. Thank you all and Gods blessings be with you. FYI Father Dave my adult son told me today he was going to make wine out of Marshmallow Peeps- Dr. Pepper flavor. Yes you gotta love them. Stay tuned I’ll let you know how the wine is.
