Sunday Longplay - F-Zero: The Grand Prix Continues (SNES ROM Hack)

This week on Sunday Longplay, it's another F-Zero hack from the maker of Mute City Mayhem! The grand prix continues with the next ROM hack in my queue, F-Zero: The Grand Prix Continues! Hey, somebody has to continue it if Nintendo won't!
Like HMR's other hacks, the tracks in this one start pretty short but get pretty long at the end. But despite the King League's length, the tracks weren't really too difficult, with the exception of White Land 2. Those icy hairpins are nasty!

Greetings That's my 2nd hack I made back in March 2016. This looks like the updated version I fixed about 10 months ago. Some AI paths were flawed first which causes the reverse glitch. Looks like I should have swapped White Land 2 with Port Town 2. When the new editor for F-Zero (FZEdit) will be released, I will remaster all hacks I made and I've planned to put White Land 2 at the second last track of this hack. "the tracks weren't really too difficult, with the exception of White Land 2." Like a comment I've seen elsewhere states: "Roses are red Violets are blue You don't know true pain 'Till you've raced White Land 2"

I feel like that applies to the original game as well because of the hairpins and that jump.

It is very cool indeed. It's a shame Nintendo won't continue the series, so it's a good thing the fans are stepping up.

They should do a rom hack of F-zero GP Legend. It would be a real success

Yeah, I feel like the GBA F-Zero games are really overlooked. I see plenty of SNES and F-Zero X hacks, but the GBA games need some love too.

Is it just me, or do these ROM hacks always revolve more around the Fire Stingray's playstyle over the other vehicles?

Somebody help me!! How can I play this hack? It shows me an error while I load the Game. Whic program works

First download the patch file. I linked to the creator’s channel and you can download it from the link in his gameplay video. Then apply the patch to a base F-Zero ROM. I like to use the online tool on romhacking.net for that. For playing the patched ROM, Bizhawk works for me for that. If the patch doesn’t work with the US version, try the EU or JP versions. The online patching tool should tell you if the ROM and the patch are compatible.
