Yay! The first song I chose for my baptism almost 25 years ago. And I want it to be sung at my funeral as well. 'I've got a home in gloryland that outshines the sun!' Fun fact: I am dutch and we have all the songs from this medley in our own language. And I'm sure they exist in many, many other languages as well. Such a wonderful thing to know that we can all sing the same songs about our Lord and Savior each in our own language.

This was fabulous and waaay too much fun and beautiful precious memories for me!!! >>>For my late older brother's [7 yrs my senior] memorial service, I put a sing-along medley of the Sunday School songs we used to use to sing together. I had all our nieces and nephews as well as my brother's 2 grandboys [20 yo & younger!!!] all come onto the platform around me playing the 9'ft grand piano [ 💕💕💕THAT!!!]. EVERYONE had a JOYOUS time singing and audience participation, too!!! And had them SHOUT some parts which totally surprised a lot of the attendees!!! My brother would've been smiling big time if he were with us playing his guitar!!! [I'm sure he was anyway!!!] Definitely one of the most joyful and happy memorial services anyone attended ever!!! MANY compliments!!!
