This is so beautiful Rita! I love French knots but I can never do them. The thread keeps going all the way thru. Not sure what I am doing wrong. These boxes are the best. I will have to make one. How beautiful it will look sitting on my desk. I appreciate you showing some of the items you are using. It helps with looking for lovely additions! Hugs ❤️🤗

Thanks, Tamera! I think you may be winding the thread too tight around the needle. Keep retention loose, but don't let go of the wraps until the needle is all the way through. I hope that makes sense! 😬

Good morning Rita. Your slow stitching is absolutely beautiful! Your ease of the needle is amazing! 💖🫶🏽💖🫶🏽💖🥰💖 PS: I am going to try my hardest to have patience like you Rita! Seeing you pull of the two flosses and add them together was what I need to do! I get so frustrated when my floss is to thick and the needle hole is to small! 🫥😵😳😬🙈

Enjoyed watching your sewing..Another podcast I watch is..To Be Loved Treasures By Corrine..can recommend it if you haven't watched her..Yes..my hands get bruised alot..and cut scrapes and cuts on them..thinner skin and I'm 58..

I have done a little embroidery in the past, but I think I'll look up some info about the stitches again. Need a refresher course! Maybe you could do some stitching with dark thread on light fabric.

You only need to know three or four easy stitches! Yes, dark on light looks good💕

@@ritajensen8311 😅I was thinking dark on light to show how to make the stitches. I couldn't really see what you were doing when you were describing the stitches.
