My mouth dropped open with shock when you nommed on the leaf. Noooooo, I shouted. My nan had a rhubarb patch and she would cut me a piece to dip in sugar and eat raw.

Evening lady r this was so interesting i love rhubarb have had it in crumble and tart but never had it as icecream and u know how i love making my own icecream . Ur getting so much better at the pasta making very impressive . I am on the look out for a nice pair of vintage dungerees in the charity shops i come across .... wish me luck i am manifesting a pink pair but any bright colour will do . Px

Hey Rashenda! Your fresh pasta looked amazing! Great progress. As for the sauce, you are only meant to keep some of the pasta water in case the eggy sauce is too dense, and add a tiny bit to loosen it. Better next time x ❤

A recipe is just one way of doing something & it might not work as is ! All cooks have found recipes that need help , explanation for missing text , extra / missing ingredients , out of order or just missing operations . Normally all are things cooks do without thinking ! So a recipe is just a starting point .

Carbonara looked ok in the end but practice makes perfect . I have never used a icecream maker i did back in the day but not in last 5 years just another gadget i can live without lol . Hope the icecream turned out ok px
