Sunderland have had some great goalscorers over the years - Clough, Phillips, Gurney, Buchan, Halliday and Holley spring to mind.
This video however celebrates those players who played numerous games for the lads and scored very few goals........

How have you not got more subs.? Iv'e seen games on this channel that I attended when I was a little kid with me Dad and games I went to when I was a teen with me mates and so on. Class memories come flooding back, did not think I would see these players, goals, celebrations and hear the Roker roar again. Thanks to you tho you have made my life a lot happier mate. Been in every end of Roker Park but the fullwell end was the main one for me, singin' me heart out. HAWAY THE LADS FTM KEEP THE FAITH.

Thanks mate. It took a long time to track down some of the games. Roker Park was special, no doubt about it. I am sure I was at some games singing alongside you in the Fulwell!

@@SunderlandAFCTV aye mate ya probably did. I bet we jumped and wrapped arms on goal celebrations. I never hardly missed a home game in the 80s and travelled away quite a lot. Love the lads with all me heart and I always will. No woman will ever come between me and SAFC.

Hi Steve. My youtube channel and website is a retro Sunderland site. I only have footage of players who played for us in the 90's and earlier. Or POOOOOM would have been in there!

Great compilation. That goal from derek Ferguson is the worst I’ve ever seen live. I also remember a screamer from Dicky, was it against Grimsby? And Paul Hardiman I think it was against Tranmere.
