Hey, thanks for review! Anyway - I have one suggestion - if you want to measure wheel length more precisely - mark one point on wheel and mark one point on the ground - align those points and roll the bicycle by straight line 2-5 wheel spins and mark another point on the ground. Now measure the distance between those two points on the ground and divide from 2-5 depending on how many turns did you pull the bicycle. This way you will get average length, which will decrease probability of false measurement :)

Can I install the magnet and the transmitter anywhere if they are aligned..... there is nothing about this on instructions manual .

You can install it anywhere on the spokes (higher/lower), just make sure the distance between the sensor and the magnet is not too large or they're not in contact.

Watch at around 8:12, Diameter of tire (in millimeters) x 3.14. In my case the diameter was 656 mm x 3.14 = 2060

Just to display the speed, it can be in any mode.Check the distance between the sensor and the magnet and make sure it's not too far away (around 3-4 mm), and make sure that number (visible at 3:40 in this video) is correct.

if you can mount the sensor onto the wheel and the sensor in front of it, it might work, but the wheel's radius is very small compared to a bike...

+Viraj Kokkula While the clock is shown, hold down the left button a few seconds to modify the clock values. Than the left button will modify the values and the right button will jump to the next value.

I haven't submerged it underwater, but I don't think it's completely waterproof, maybe splash proof, rain proof. Don't keep it underwater for a long period of time.

After my second Garmin Edge 520 died unexpectedly I decided to try something different - the Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt instead of the Garmin 530. Boy! I like the configuration of the display more (up to 7 items visible on page 1 without scrolling and the first item chosen is larger characters than the next 3 rows that have pairs of items (still very readable). I also like the configurable item selections. The Bolt synced with my Garmin ANT+ Speed sensors on both bikes easily so no additional investment was required there. While the rated battery life is a couple hours less than the Garmin 520/530, I easily get a weeks worth of 1+ hour rides before recharging (and it's never really low on charge). At the end of a ride syncing to the Wahoo app, Strava, and Apple Health app is painless.
