In this Sunkenland guide i will show you how to get started as a beginner. I have over 80 hours in the game now and have found this is the best way to start. I show you how to build a base, find marling to make diving fins and how to set up the starter base.

The position of the base is important and you didn't really touch on that other than to build it on the opposite side of 95% of everything you'll be going after.. way to go there champ! Tips Guide should be just that. A good tip is where to build on the island.. lol

Personally I built a 3x4 on top of the rocks on castaway island that way they could only attack from one direction and I just simply built up ways as I progressed not out ways Guess it’s my ark survival evolved PvP mindset

A very nice base at beginning. I have one question, how did you build the gate and defensive wall inside the water? Because if I try, it won't let me... It turns red

Ive found that trees drop branches gradually, don't cut them all down, makes things harder. Upon further reflection, ignore that lol, everything regens..

Very helpful. I have a follow up question can you build more than one base location and if you do which one will they attack the one closest to your location or the one you started with where your bed is?

when I get attacked do I lose the wood if building is damaged And where do I get Mods Also, the loot bags on this island if I store items in these 2 bags and log out will I lose this items

In my first, go round, I built on top of the cliffs on the island, so I built five buckets so I could do all the sea water runs in one go. Now I’m thinking that was a bit overkill.

Not 10 seconds in in this video has already changed my gameplay. I whacked at those trees for I thought forever. I didn’t think you could cut them down to be honest.

What do you think about having a base on the water directly, not positioned on any island?!

bad idea early on unless you farm like hell and immediately rush tier 2 research bench to unlock better armour and weapons or just build an ungodly amount of defense with multi layered wall although be careful because once you upgraded the research bench to tier 2 the raiding mutant will spawn in with crossbow either way,the best defense that i found out is to not be in your base during the night,i know seems counter intuitive but the enemy cannot raid your base if you're not there

@@MrX-un8cz Not a bad idea but definitely a bad take on your part. Raid levels are time based so there is no need to worry about raids from a few mutants with spears. You can easily have a water base with wall defenses in place and a crossbow before it progresses beyond that. It's literally like shooting fish in the barrel.

yow, I built a MONSTER BASE in that building a few times, that shit was un-raidable online, it was insane. Man i miss playing DayZ, was good at pvp but building i was insane, my teammates would complain because my builds were practically a maze and they'd get lost inside lol

Not sure why youd want to build on the beach like that when you have a giant rock thats up high and its a better defensive position.

it’s more convenient, everything you need is in the water/on the ground. especially in early game u don’t wanna waste too much time running back and forth + raids are easy enough for a while
