if you guys go to Penang Hill, you should try foods in the foodcourt on the top of the hill.. it also has Asam Laksa which only cost you rm5 and tasty enough.. it also has very tasty ABC there..

There are many kind of laksa in Malaysia…There are asam laksa, Nyonya Curry laksa, Sarawak Laksa, Johor Laksa, Laksam ( from east coast Kelantan), Laksa Terengganu (from Terengganu)…My favourite is Nyonya currry laksa…it is prawn and chicken broth with coconut milk,some herbs and spices…add the sambal they give you on the side for extra kick…usually people take with egg noodles but i like with rice vermicelli noodle, also called bee hoon…I really recommend you guys to try it..it is malay, chinese and indian in one bowl…Laksa Sarawak is also famous and it is the favourite of the late Antony Bourdain, it is almost the same as nyonya curry laksa but the broth a bit richer…i still prefer the lighter nyonya curry laksa…for a strange reason i’m not rally a fan of asam. laksa…another of. my favourite is laksam from state of kelantan, it has homemade thick noodle with fish broth cooked with coconut milk…if you want to try i think you can find it in kampung baru, the restaurant next to nasi lemak wanjo.

Just like the famous Penang char koay teow, the Penang laksa also has two versions. Laksa lemak and Assam laksa. The laksa lemak usually have thicker/rich fish broth and less sour than the Assam laksa. That being said, both the laksa types are commonly sold in Penang.

This is a different kind of crispy poppiah. The one I told you in your other blog is totally a different type make by the malay, the roll skin is not crispy and the ingredients in it are also different with wonderful taste of special flavour sauce. You will love it if you try it.

At 12minutes u walked by a backlane road Toh Soon Coffee. A famous local breakfast place. Best served half boiled egg, Toasted bread with kaya and butter. Nice food

Ice ball was one of my favourite during my childhood. Only rose syrup flavour last time. Holding it with our bare hands. It will drip down my hands.

As a kid in the mid 1970's I used to by Ice Balls from a stall in the middle of a Rubber Estate in Nibong Tebal, Province Wellesley South, Penang. It is now a housing estate. 😊😊😊 when you suck all the flavours from the ice ball, you go to the stall and ask for top up of the Red Syrup. And Ice Ball was 10 to 20 sen then... hahaha Don't bite... just suck...

You left out the shrimp paste which is in the yellow squeeze bottle on the table. Mixed into the laksa broth, it would have given it an extra voomp!

Adam laksa ...mix all ingredients together then more flavour to eat! Penang asam laksa if I'm not wrong is top 3 Asia or world food list! Entopia penang... shld be largest in the world. Snakes temple.. The dessrt top with ice cream we named it ABC... Its nation most favourite desserts...

For me the best laksa is laksa sarawak and 2nd is laksa johor...there so many laksa in Malaysia 🤣🤣...laksa sarawak, laksa johor, laksa nyonya, laksa kedah, asam laksa 🤣🤣🤣 hope you can taste it all 😅

It depends on each's preference, I personally don't eat popiah with dipping sauce as I feel the sauce inside the popiah is more than enough for my taste bud.

I will never dare to talk while eating any type of laksa or even mee Hailam or mee Bandung.. i afraid i will end up "tersedak" choking coughing hiccups eating that food.. She got a sensitive teeth.. lmao.. That buah nipah is hard to take it.. it sweet.. but.. the time and afford to take it out from it original husk for that tiny sweet just unbearable to watch.. some people just give up.
