Sunmi wrote and produced LALALAY herself, she wanted it as her title track. (If not in reference to LALALAY I apologise).

@@shaks.m5555 I think Vanessa didn't mean that Sunmi wants to make this song as her title track instead of Lalalay, but talked in general. Because Sunmi once said that she wants to release this song as her title track, but the company disagreed and said the song is too strong. We didn't exactly know when she discussed about this with the company because after her leave JYP, Sunmi participated in writing and producing all of her songs since Gashina, so every songs she had promoted could be a candidate.

I don’t understand the urge to set a stronger and weaker person in a relationship. In a healthy relationship there is no need for that or else it comes with the personality of one person, not his or her sex. It does not make any sense in same sex relationships for exemple and don’t tell me it is not the same than opposite sex relationships. Nowadays it is bad (or badly seen) to say that men have a strong presence in a relationship because you know, women power, we are not slaves... but men are humans too ! If we want equality we have to think both ways ! Sorry for the long ass rant but I had to say it somewhere (and sorry if I wrote something the wrong way English is not my first language)

The whole point of feminism is to create equality by giving women the same respect and rights men have. Its not about overpowering and being better than men but bluntly saying that women aren't pets. It's just focusing on women in this song not promoting anything unhealthy. Ps: your English is great, well done :)

The reason why I like SUNMI so much is because she always has these different kind of beats and melodies! It’s really refreshing not to hear tropical house for once ( not that it is bad but kinda overdone )

it's only for english song names tho actually Chungha's gotta go's original song name is 벌써 12시 (it means ''already 12o'clock'') and Sunmi's gotta go's original song name is 가라고 (which means go away, get lost and it's pronunciation is ga ra go so it is rlly similar to gotta go's sound)

가시나,주인공은 작사 참여하고 그 이후로는 모든 솔로곡 수록곡까지 전부다 선미가 작사,작곡 했어요!!ㅜㅜ 노래가 다 너무 좋아서 자작곡이었을줄은 꿈에도 몰랐는데....작곡은 원더걸스 와이소론리 때부터 했더라구요.....아티스트죠...

I love how that she’s the artist but doesn’t make her outfits stand out too much to take away from the backup dancers (edit) i think ppl are misunderstanding what i mean yeah she already stands out but it’s just a really nice change of pace to see an artist dress similar to their backup dancers as if they were a group being formed or whatever

What I like about Sunmi: When she wears an outfit, her dancers wear different outfits of similar colours but she still outshines. And when she and her dancers wear the same outfit, she also still outshines. The entire screen times are not just focus on Sunmi, but some of the dancers too. So we know that she’s not the only one who’s talented.

i’m annoyed that her company thought this was “too strong” for her image like what? the thing about sunmi is that she is able to switch it up so easily. She has the face for more hard and “strong” shit like this. Idk if that makes sense but i think jyp basically said something similar about her a while back (she talked about it in an interview i think.) anyways i think an artist should be able to experiment with different sounds and different looks. but anyways, this song slaps EDIT: It seems like some people are confused about my JYP statement. What i meant to say was that JYP said that sunmi is able to basically fit any concept due to her being able to “flip the switch” (as i like to call it.) Basically if she wanted to do more “hard” stuff like this, she could pull it off. If she wanted to do more cutesy stuff, she could pull it off. She’s versatile. Also she is NOT signed to JYP anymore, Makeus Ent. is her new company and while i understand that they’re kind of a new company, sunmi is a veteran idol. She could put out a song of her doing pig calls and i bet that shit would chart (i’m joking but also...kpop fans probably would buy that single). Anyways, i still want sunmi to experiment more with her sound and judging by her vlogs, she is. Plenty of “smaller” companies have taken risks with their groups or soloists (dreamcatcher comes to mind with their horror concept and their rock sound. Happyface took a chance and while the group isn’t as big as Twice, they’re getting more and more popular. Especially overseas.) so...idk. its possible. I’m hoping that makeus trusts sunmi with her music. They seem like a pretty okay company overall.

I wonder though, if we should take that statement so literally, since ultimately she still got to release this. Maybe that decision was pre Gashina and/or Heroine, and they felt like it was still too early to take a risk and persuaded her to go with something else. Idk, it's just so odd to hear considering Siren and Noir aren't necessarily happy-go-lucky songs either, so I feel like the company has learned to trust her and her impact overtime. I can't fault them too much for being hesitant, they're still a pretty "young" company, and I appreciate them trying to make up for it by not entirely scrapping the song and bringing it back.

이게 선미님이 직접 작곡한 거면... 앞으로 믿고 들어야겠다 선미언니 노래는... 태어나서 들은 노래 중에 제일 멋있고 세련되고 집중되고 느낌있고 완벽하다 처음부터 끝까지 부족하다고 느껴지는 데가 하나도 없네.. 진짜 정성이 들어간 곡인것 같다..
