What about "the collector"? Where you want to collect everything for your catalog, even if you don't actually like the thing. You only keep the things that you like, but that's so much stuff it mostly sits in your storage.

Definitely mostly the Escapist, though I haven't played regularly in over a year. Had some elements of all the rest though. I had themed rooms like an Artist, talked at least _once_ a day with everyone on the island like a Good Neighbor, maintained a full wardrobe like an Aesthetic, and maintained an orchard and meager Stalk Market trade like the Hustler. Favorite villagers included Beau and Audie (yes I had both of them, along with Bob!) and my first neighbors.

The islander: Focus on what the island looks like. Unlike the artist The islander does not do custom designs they at least have two farms on their island and might’ve made an outside restaurant

i'm "the good neighbour", one reason being is because i only get on animal crossing to talk to my besties (aka merry, marshal, rosie, lolly, lily, poncho, bluebear, fuchsia, stitches and bunnie) and i decorate my island only for them!!

I'm definetly a good half and half mix between the Escapist and the Good Neighbor. I always do my dailys and enjoy just hanging out in the game, but I also adore my neighbors and always stop by the Ables store every day to buy them new clothes as presents

Also started New Horizons being a new OLED Switch owner this month. Already got K.K to perform and its one of my fave video game moments of all-time. I say i'm between a Hustler (The Bells aren't gonna earn themselves), the Good Neighbor (I don't do net hits save for the fleas they have) and Artist (in the making to build my SGE themed park).

You forgot the player who goes way overboard with time travelling. Personally, I solve all my problems by changing the date. You get so much more money trees, fruits, and interesting items at nooks and crannys and able sisters. You also get to see Redd a lot more often. I'm currently in October 2023 in my game and I have no regrets.

The way you felt about quilson, I felt about Winnie. I ended up buying amiibo cards just for the sole purpose of removing her. But finally got a camper, faith, choose her name to be removed. She finally moved out a week ago after having her since acnh released. It was crazy annoying, her presence frustrated me. I got a feeling the second update from the new update helped. I get campers more often.

Lol I'm literally all of these I play this game basically every day and I have a specific routine I follow every time: 1. Collect my mail and (since its always at least a music record) put it in my house. 2. Pick all of my vegies from my garden then water them. 3. Collect all seashells and fossils I find and give all I can to blathers then sell the rest usually along with the vegies. 3. Since I'm already in nook's cranny I check what they got in stock and buy anything I'm interested in. 4. I go to able sisters and buy anything I'm interested in. 5. I talk to all the villagers at least once and do anything they need for them. 6. I look for any special people (like Flick or Cj) and I interact with them if they're there. 7.i spend the next maybe hour either fishing or diving for sea creatures (catching any new bugs the way as well as return missing items or things along that line that I find along the way) and give anything I can to blathers and sell the rest. 8. Sometimes if I wanna spice it up I'll work on decorating the island or improve the infrastructure with the huge amount of furniture and bells (sarcasm) I have or I'll find a cute accessory that I have nothing to pair with so I'll make a custom clothing piece to match.

I'm the "completionist" I guess. I feel the need to participate in everything, get all the achievements, have one of everything, and spend too much time on all that to actually make my island look very nice... XD

You forgot the "Obsessed" Who plays daily, goes out of their way to collect all the new fish and bugs each month, trades on nookazon regularly for tickets so that they can go villager hunting, and has over 900+ hours into the game designing their island, trying to get their villager's photos, and has already completed at least 90% of their museum, oh and just seems to know everything down to the last detail... lol

I'm a combo of all of them, honestly, except for "The Artist". I play the game for escapism, I love my villagers (especially my first 2), a quarter of my island is a dedicated everything orchard; & I play as a girl, so I'm always dressing her up in cute outfits.

You forgot one: the hoarder. In my house the main room is completely full with items and my storage is full too. I have half of my island where I collect rare fish and just put them there. You can only get around through 1 block wide passages. The villagers complain about it being crowded. Never sells items. I’m the hoarder... but I also really care about my ugly villagers and I dress up crazy... but then I made a satanic circle and put a pig in there. He’s ugly and I call him pork chop cuz he needs to burn.

Basically he wants to "beat" animal crossing and collect everything he can, usually these guys don't time travel cuz they see it as cheating, they will probably ask to visit your town if you live in a different hemisphere as them to get fish and bugs

You should do another one with the Dictator player. Me, being one, can tell you what they are like. They see the other villagers as pawns, likely calling them Peasants. Flag is most likely hammer and sickle. Walls are a necessity. They move the houses of the Peasants onto one mainland, with their own separated by a river. Shops and museum are on the opposite side of the island. They probably have only one favorite villager which they consider their god. That certain villager might have their house next to the Dictator, separated from the Peasants. The Peasants likely don't have any trees on their side of the river. And that's the Dictator. Of course, you probably won't see this comment as it is one of thousands. But if you are reading this, thanks. Edit: Something is happening. I no longer look down upon the villagers. Instead, I see them as friends. I’ve taken down the walls and am even considering moving the shops back. Is this what compassion feels like?

I remember seeing a discord post a while back about how “tips aren’t a suggestion, we are taking time out of our day to open up our island, when we say tips appreciated we expect a tip for our hard work” or something like that. Not to be mean to the guy, but it’s animal crossing. It’s not that hard to click a few buttons to open up your island.

I played animal mainly to kill time. Also for fun and to relax. I also like buliding. The dlc is a pretty place for me to build without having to building up items forever.

I'd say that I'm a little bit of all of them except the hustler. Decorating/ designing my house, talking to my animals and giving them gifts, buying lots of clothes...bruh, the clothes. I'm the definition of the snooty villager Pocket Camp quote "My outfit is feeling a bit blasé today." once I wear something for 3 days in a row. A new outfit each day is a must.

I am one of those people who just forgets why their at a certain area and then remembers why they got there so then they go back to do that thing they were going to do before (like assessing fossils, selling items, making clothes but doesn’t have able sisters like me, all of those stuff like that

I am the emotional one that always cries in bliss when my fave villagers greet me and ask me for special names they call me as after as well for a special greeting too. I talk to them so often and make sure they have a good friendship with me. I wished.... I could have at least 35 villagers on my Island because I love too many !!! Even cranky and snotty ones, I am not sorry! :D
