The Rock's reputation has taken a bit of a beating recently. There was the poorly received Joe Rogan podcast, the controversial Maui fundraiser, and his appearance in the WWE's most disliked video. As a result, for the first time ever, The Rock has begun to lose followers. Why?
This is, The Rock Is Losing Thousands Of Fans Per Hour. Why?

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised that he just forgot that he ate at In-And-Out, it’s a pretty mediocre fast food franchise and the amount of work and content in Dwayne’s day-to-day life is overwhelming. Advertisements, acting, endorsements, bodybuilding; 5 years of that would definitely be more than enough to make him forget about a random fast food restaurant he ate at 5 years ago.

Truth be told, the Rock's ego is what's destroying his fame and reputation. Especially when it comes to his movie negotiations.
@928studiosinc06
@928studiosinc06 16 күн бұрын
I met The Rock two years ago while he was shooting Shark Week, and let's just say his public persona is nothing like his one with fans. He's really kind and caring to them (as he was to me). He clearly loves making his fans happy, so I'm positive all of the negativity comes from this: Once your a big star, you've pretty much sold your soul away for being famous. Dwayne Johnson comes from a father, who was a big wrestler (that wrestler being Rocky Johnson). He followed in his father's footsteps (as some sons will do [what I plan on doing]), and became a certified movie star in 2001. Since then, he's been a popular name with a ton of people, which means a ton of deals come in, and the pressure is on. However, that doesn't mean everything is good. You have to be a spokesperson essentially at the same time, hence we have really terrible adverts, forced pressure, and set opinions. It's not a good look, and a lot of people go through that, which is unfortunate. I can confirm that, in real life, Dwayne is a down to earth and kind human being that cares a whole lot about his fans, but the dark side of Hollywood that manipulates everyone in certain ways gets to them, and turns them into a product.

After Dwayne left WWE full time 20+ years ago, he has done many things that have rubbed me the wrong way and straight up pissed me off. When Cody Rhodes was shoved aside by Dwayne to headline Wrestlemania instead, that sent the resentment for everything he did outside of WWE to new heights because now he was screwing with the story I WANTED TO SEE and didn't want to see Rock make a storyline twist that made ZERO sense. His "Final Boss" character ended up being amazing, but how we got there was astronomically tone deaf on his part.

OK. A few things here: 1) There is no way this man has never been to an In & Out Burger until his 50's. If you didn't eat fast food as a mid-carder working your way up the chain in mid-90's WWF, you simply didn't eat. Ask any wrestler who worked the opening match for Raw back then what they ate. I guarantee you you'll get answers like "Wendy's," "Burger King," and "Waffle House." The reason is because they made practically no money in those days. The mansions, spray tans, and public divorces come much later in your career......"brotherrr." 2) As far as the lying goes, go ahead and read Tony Atlas's book. He was The Rock's father's tag team partner. Tells you everything you need to know about where The Rock learned this carny skill. 3) And as far as the shameless promoting goes, welp, he probably learned that from none other than Vince "Gropey Hands" McMahon. One of Vince's favorite catchphrases is, "GO OUT THERE AND MAKE ME MONEY." So, when you've been around that mentality since your early 20's, you tend to pick up a few things.

I'm so glad, can you imagine if Black Adam was a hit? He's already an aye whole and then to not make a movie, but start it out thinking it was going to be a franchise? Every time he talks about running for Presidence I cringe, and he keeps trying to say he's black. We've ALL only had $7 in our pockets at some time after 20 years old, this guy's ego ran away with his brain years ago.

Dwayne is the type of dude that feels like he has to one-up everyone around him to keep up his “best man in the room” complex. We're talking Clooney, Damon, Pitt, Roberts, everybody in the movie PLUS other A B, and C listers just wandering around. And there was The Rock, humble and quiet and standing off to the side with his first wife--they looked about as star struck as I was. I was listening to a podcast with Dax Shepard once, who also has a shitton of money thanks to his wife, and the stuff he does. He said he is constantly hustling because he feels that all the stuff he earned could come crashing down some day and he would be back to being the broke dude from Detroit. Now is this the same as The Rock? I don't know, I am just adding some context to what someone else that came from nothing said.

6:41 The Rock did not "fold instantly" . LOL he said he did not know and now he has the complete narrative 5:31 Yes he should tip toe around anything controversial. Thats the smart thing to do 1:41 he's in his 50's he mostly like forgot or someone is posting for him. he gains nothing from lying about eating a restaurant 4 years ago (2017-2022) Most people dont even remember what they ate last month. At the end of the Day, the Rock has a strong fan base that goes beyond youtube. losing KZfaq subscribers means nothing to him. Social blade is not a proper tool to gauge if someone is losing real "fans" . this video should be called "the Rock loses youtube subscribers".

What’s so ironic is that The Rock has the title of “the people’s champ.” He not only booked himself to go up against Roman Reigns in a storyline that had been built up for over 2 YEARS which he had no part in, there was word going around that he was pushing to WIN the title

People got mad at me when I told them The Rock does this all the time. I realized years ago that he likes to write himself into these storylines and steal the spotlight in major events because his ego is too big. He needs to sit down. If HHH haven't stepped in and exerted his power then he would've gotten what he wanted without a care in the world for sure.

@@Demetoriusu to be fair, it took the rock, triple H’s intervention and their collaboration to get what we got.
