Beautiful sunset on Mulholland Drive (scenic drive across the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking Los Angeles California).

Beautiful - I love Mullholland Drive and do a drive through it whenever I go down to visit L.A. Will have to catch a sunset one day.

Looking at this vista takes me to the other evening when we saw an incredibly beautiful sky.There were long streaks of flat black clouds with hues of orange showing through intermittently and shining brightly.The starkness of the two colours was striking and we knew we were seeing nature's painting for which there is no price.Beautiful and ethereal.

And how.People often talk about the weather but only as packaging,like a presents wrapping:they do not see just why we sometimes get to see spectacular sights that make such a big impression on us..everyone likes a beautiful sunset.. it is appreciating what gives us the view that is magical.I remember once at a festival when we were drumming and everyone was just doing their own thing.One of our friends was doing a set but they could not tear me away;and as we were sitting having a break and chat we saw the most incredible sunset I have ever seen.This huge red/orange ball totally eclipsed the church nearby and its steeple;you could see it on either side as it slowly went down and it was extraordinary Keri.We were very,very lucky and I do not think we will ever see something quite like that again.Nature gives us many gifts..and,like an art collector we can only marvel and try and take in the gift unfolding.A sunset with a difference and we soaked up every second in total calm and peace.A moment for the treasure trove of memories Keri.

I have no idea why I uploaded my latest..with the cold and the farce of this format I thought smiles were in order; but not many will understand the humour..oh well:)Thumbs up Keri.

+myworldyourmusic11 That is a beautiful story, really paints a vivid picture. Drumming, music festival, epic sunset...what a great experience and memory to have!
