My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

Chrome, it's YOU , not content. You are that one friend who is always honest, who doesn't play mind games or go for shock value. It's refreshing to feel like I could have a cup of coffee with you and few hundred close friends any time I view your channel. I've been following Jeffie Bear's channel too. He is back to himself now that he's hit the road again. His joy comes through the screen. I loved all the members of the Vancouver Van Clan from the beginning. In fact, I'm inspired to do my own van.

I was Stationed near Fairbanks while I was in the Air Force in the mid 70's. I'd go four wheeling waaaaay in the back of the base, around 30 miles back of rough terrain. Anyhow, the Tundra you could jump on and a tree around 30 feet away would shake. The whole ground was like a wave almost, Pretty strange. BTW, got your tee shirt, thanks & great quality. A+

Very exciting news about Jeffie Bear. Great dude! Still love watching your vids Chrome. You have shared more of Canada than I will ever get to see. So beautiful. Board of Tourism should hire you. Appreciate the freedom you have living in a van. New people come on every day and need to learn The basics, what works, what doesn't. Best advice I have heard was from you....JUST DO IT! Get in. Get started then plan your build out.

I really enjoy the mix of your channel chrome. Constant back country can get boring for me so i enjoy your vids on the shop, working on or upgrading the van, the occasional stealth van vid, cruzie bear vid etc. It pretty much sets your channel apart from most others. Im really happy with the mix you've had over the last few years.

Got picked up by two boats for our group and all our gear and taken over to Walters Cove for a fishing trip. What a beautiful ride on a beautiful day. The scenery was spectacular. Fair Harbour is such a cool place.

Hey Chrome that is some beautiful country you have there! I have to admit I haven’t been watching for a minute. On April 15th I had a cardiac catheterization done and on April 16th I had triple bypass surgery done. Home now recuperating. ❤️‍🩹 I thank the good Lord for sparing me and I am so happy to be back watching you & Cruz! Can’t wait to see Jeffie Bear!🚐

Those trees look a lot like the Cyprus trees that we have growing next to rivers and lakes here in Texas. Maybe it's a related species. They do have a tendency to tangle their roots.

The branch had fruitcose lichens as opposed to crustose lichens that are on rocks and dont "fan out" You make being normal fun again and not boring. Personally, i dont think any of the others live quite like you..

Chrome, You're right. I've watched the channels you mentioned go from van life to off grid or cabin in the woods through the years. I think that's a normal progression. You say never, never, never now but I'm betting at some point your van life will be part time adventures, especially when your businesses start booming. Most brick & mortar businesses like yours can't be run remotely.

Chrome watching you start your new business has been really interesting. It's what entrepreneurs do and that's exactly what KZfaqrs are & what attracts me to your channel. Every business needs to be able to scale up or they die out, exactly what you said. They branch off into something different but still somewhat related, or not, or they completely stop recording content. Keep doing you. You instinctively got this!

I watch your video because you are easy to relate to and I enjoy the content you bring to all of us. I lived in my RV for four years before I bought a house. I still enjoy the RV, but its nice to have a base camp at the same time. Keep doing you, we all enjoy it.

I didn't know much about van life when I first saw you roll in the shop. I looked up your channel out of curiosity and the energy and positivity have kept me coming back since. I have tried other van life channels, but it's not the same. You changed my perception of van life to make it enviable. You make it look so relaxing and fun!

I did ground beef and mac n cheese for lunch today. I browned onion with the beef also added shredded cheese & a couple of tablespoons of medium heat nacho cheese to the sauce.😋

I pivoted with a new channel was tent camping and outdoor channel and changed to trying a full vanlife channel. I must be doing it backwards lol. Loving the backcountry adventures

You might want to think about bear safe camping. Dumping your cooking water outside your door will attract bears. Believe me you don’t want to open your door in the morning and come face to face with a bear.
