Nothing brings me joy quite like a flower does. They may seem like some of the simplest things, disposable even, but so are we. Simple, short lived- the complexity that exists in a flower goes beyond the color of the soft petals, the shape of the textured leaves, the sweetness of the fragrance; every flower is a universe of pattern and i think that’s just lovely~babywildflowers~

Three summers ago this lady pulled up in the parking lot of this minimum wage job I worked at. She was driving this beautiful vintage car and was wearing a lovely dress. On her car's dashboard lay hundreds of wildflowers, where I live there are many hills and valleys, kind of a tourist destination for it so I think she had just picked them. It was so pretty, that memory is ingrained in my head lol. Flowers may not last long but the memory of their beauty stays.

I'm in love with all these cottagecore dreamscapes and I have been playing them on repeat for days and trying to live the cottagecore aesthetic with my floral dresses/skirts and puffed sleeved shirts and my braided headband and loosely curled hair and blush on my nose... I even put a vase of wildflowers in my room and hung some vintage cards and dried flowers on the fairy light string lights on my wall... and I am going to bake a strawberry rhubarb pie on Friday... I've been picking flowers and talking to animals and I feel like a Disney princess... it's so magical, I'm so glad I found this aesthetic 🍄🌿🌻♡

There is something so pleasant about walking through a bucolic lane of tall-standing trees and seeing the sunlight filter through the foliage, with the mellifluous chant of the birds echoing through your ears. This playlist somewhat conveys this reposeful imagery.

As I wish, nothing happens I look around trying to escape this gray world, but chaos keeps hitting me on the face. In the after rain of one of those days I wish again, crying in despair... I close my eyes, now all smudged with mascara, wishing from the bottom of my heart. When they're closed, I see the wind playing with little flowers in a dreamy landscape and I can hear chimes in the distance, echoing from within the woods. I know they are people there, but good people, respectful people and people who knows what the land is and what the land do with those who doesn't. I open my eyes. I'm still in this gray city. But I know when I close my eyes the dreamy landscape will be there. And is real, maybe more than this world that we live in, other people have seen it too, people listen to this Playlist too, people can feel the fairy soft touch on our hairs... It can't be an illusion.
