@adriaanvogelzang It is no problem for me to write in English :-) Thank you for the comment - at the beginning I wanted to make the same video with English subtitles but then it stayed German. Yes, the temperature can be a problem but as you can see at 04:00 , the temperature of the chemicals is at least at 40° C when the process starts. In the tank, they are cooling down on 38° C. The First Developer stays "only" 6 minutes in the tank, so the temperature does not fall too much.

Yes, it actually is a colour film. It may seems so "colourless" because it is a dark scene on the film.

The Lomo tank uses 1 liter of chemicals. In 1 liter, you can develop at least 5 cartridges of super 8 film (maybe even 6 or 7).

Sorry for the late answer but any jerk marked your question as spam. So, yes, you can use all E-6 chemicals at least for 5 super 8 cartridges.

Thanks for posting this... I'm just wondering how 1 litre of chemistry fills that whole pipe up? Or is the film not always totally submerged in the liquids as the pipe is rolling all the time? Many thanks

Great video, beacause kodachrome has finished i am planning builing the same tank as well, ik think laboratories are quite expensive for the service. I was wondering how you keep the temperature right while processing? I have heard that especially the first developer temperature is critical. How are your colour results? You can write me in German i understand everything only the writing is difficult for me

But what about with a diy tank such as the one used in the video. Lomo tanks cost a fortune.

So how much chemicals do you use in a process? 1 liter? 3 liters? And how many times can you reuse the chemicals?
@LeinwandHeld1

Oops, my fault. The DIY Tanks also uses 1 liter of solution.
