Man this RE7 movie is gonna be great

I want the end credits scene for this movie to just be Venom getting caught by Trap Room.

I could not be more hype for this movie. Hopefully it wont suck balls, but if it does, at least I'll know what Transformers fans feel like. Also, they're all Venom's kids. They pull them out of Venom in between 3-4 of Lethal Protector, with the 5th one being pulled out of him on-panel.

My issues with the solo Venom movie is that the Spider-Man/ Venom rivalry relies entirely on the fact that the creation of Venom as an entity is so closely tied to Spider-Man. I dunno, love Venom, but his origins are so closely tied to Peter and his bond with the suit. It kinda feels like a Red Hood movie without Batman, I guess

Maybe Venom’s powers will be like in the Ultimate Spiderman game where he basically just uses claws and tendrils.

Isn't the reason why Venom shoots webs and has the big spider on his chest because the symbiote came from Peter first? If so, then it'd make sense why he's using tendrils and why his chest is (probably) bare.

I always thought the symbiote and Eddie were more passively angry until they got together fed off of each other’s anger at Spider-Man, but the trailer makes it seem like the symbiote is the agressive one while Eddie is just nodding in agreement

Marvel movies that are not connected to the MCU and handled by Feige are irrelevant at this point. Who wants to waste their time watching a Marvel movie that's not going to be connected to the Cinematic Universe that everyone is already invested in. Especially when this film will fizzle out into obscurity within a month of it's release.

The "sym-bye-oats" in Lethal Protector were Venom's clones.

I'd had liked to see the movie have moments where eddie scowls at folders with old newspaper clippings or turn away from a tv news segment that other people are in rapt attention towards, or have angry dreams about a "boy"; just imply that spidey's there without overtly showing it, and have the movie go on unrelated to him.

I can see this venom wanting to be a good guy like spiderman (even getting a giant spider logo on his chest and learning to swing) but being more aggressive. Spiderman hates him for that and then venom ends up hating him since he's too nice. Either way I'm hype for this, looks like it'll be better then spideman 3's disappointment. God they think Hardy's voice was awful, topher Grace's "bad guy" voice was terrible.

At least the tendrils instead of webbing mean Venom isn't completely dumb without Spider-Man. But they'll have a hard time justifying a giant spider on his chest. And that nobody can pronounce "symbiote." They need to reshoot that, I don't care what it costs them.

I wouldn’t say that I’m really hyped for this movie (heck like Everyone else I’d like to see mah boi Venom in the MCU) but I’ll say this. I’m pretty confident I’ll enjoy this more than Buttman vs Stupidman: Dawn of MURTHA

Me and a group of people from job core, drove to a movie theater. We all sat down to see this Movie, and all of a sudden a girl comes into the theater. Someone from the group (claimed he had no idea who she was, which we believed, cuz he was from the other side of America, and we were outside Portland) called out a random name towards the girl, her name was Maddie, and she responded. So everytime something happened on screen we blamed it on that poor girl. She was a good sport and laughed throughout the entire movie. Needless to say, i cant remember jac shit about thatmovie, other than there is a rocket.

Why should we worry about overexposing Venom in the fUCKING VENOM MOVIE!?

Pat, the reason Venom has 'webs' is because the symbiote is so fucking yandere for Peter Parker that it will leave a current host and try to bond to one of Peter's clones.

The real question here is are they going the alien symbiote in this version or the artificial life form that was Ultimate Venom?

i had been waiting for a Venom vs. Carnage movie since Wizard mag said a CG one was in the works. (this was like MK movie era- i was so horrified they'd look like Reptile!) verdict: i thought the first was ok and actually really like the 2nd save for a few dumb parts. Carnage-nado. (i was SUPER into Carnage for way too long)

God I forgot how dumb the other symbiotes names are, aside from Venom and Carnage of course.

To be fair Pat the Sony Spider-Man movies were okay and I did kind of want to see Sinister Six since they were setting up for it, but I'll admit the MCU Spider-Man is by far the best one yet. However I'll agree with you that a spin off universe without the main heroes is stupid. Which is why I don't bother to waste my time with any of the TV shows and only watch the movies. This is also why I think that Venom will be incorporated into the MCU since the movie is being made in association with Marvel. At the end of the day I bet Disney was all like "okay Sony we're busy with a lot things right now so you can go ahead and make another Spider-Man movie about Venom, but remember that after this he's going to be part of the MCU". This is probably going to be the case because lets face it, the Mouse always gets what he wants since he has the most money. Heck I bet that Disney could just buy Sony and they would totally accept the offer. It also wouldn't surprise me if no one else cared about Disney monopolizing the movie market as long as they keep making decent movies.

This movie is going to be hot garbage with dumpster juice. I have been a huge venom fan since his inception but Sony is just messing everything up. They can't get anything right.

I don't like the look of this new venom. Lets make this perfectly clear, venom in spiderman 3 was awful, just awful, BUT it at least it looked better. The CGI wasn't as noticeable and I liked the way the actual symbiote moved. It kinda slithered in a stringy fashion. I really hope it looks better in the movie.

I have no hope for this movie at all. Its Sony and they already fucked up past spiderman movies so this may not work.
