Nicely showing the differences with TV and official vid. Sounded a little different with them, Mary actually sang better there than live TV, showing how the stage was really well organized both front and back, how the artists rocked the entire arena to the top, and an uncensored version of Snoop at the beginning of “Still D.R.E”. I enjoyed. Thanks for posting this.

Fun fact: Michael Jackson's superbowl halftime in 1993 broke record for being the only halftime show to have more live audience viewers than the superbowl itself. He was the only act on stage. He was the only act in history where NFL offered to pay the artist, but it went to his charity at the time 'Heal LA' which helped struggling youth in Los Angeles. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
@transformer18652 жыл бұрын
Not completely true. Katy Perry's halftime show (118.5 million viewers) had more viewers than the game itself (114.4 million viewers) and she remains the most watched halftime act in the history of the Super Bowl. Another fun fact is Katy Perry is the only artist (other than Michael Jackson himself) to have 5 #1 Hot 100 songs from one album.

Folks need to understand the symbolism behind Dre playing ‘I ain’t mad at cha’ by Tupac on the piano.. it isn’t a very widely used tribute track It’s well documented that Tupac and Dr.Dre had problems before his death, and actually didn’t speak for a long while before Tupac was killed.... so it’s likely they never had chance to squash their issues with eachother. ‘I ain’t mad at ya’ is Dre’s message to pac

I grew up in Vegas from 1977 to 1988. I went back to visit Las Vegas in 1997. I noticed a large group of people standing by Caesars Palace with white candles. I took a candle; as I lit it, I noticed a picture of Tupac a few days before he was killed. The memorial happened on the one year anniversary of his passing. I looked at people around me and told them (& pointed at) the former Hilton Hotel/International Hotel and said a teddy bear with a candle was sitting in front of the marquee. But standing there remembering Tupac with other people was peaceful.

Dude. In recent years, Dre and Shakira & JLo's Super Bowl performances have been the best. With respect to Weeknd, his show is great. But, it can't hold a candle to what Shakira, JLo, Dre, and Snoop brought to the table. This one hits home, for everyone who grew up loving hip-hop. If Pac was still alive, without a doubt, this audience would have been on fire.
