I have an older version of that Protac light. It is super bright at I believe 2k lumens is what the older was rated for and is a solid light. Whack someone with it, and it's gonna hurt, lol. Hell I still have one of my original Streamlights, and it's still going. Has to be at least 10 years old, so streamlights are the real deal for flashlights

I own one of those exact streamlights. It is a great light. A bit of a flood though. Not a perfectly focused beam at long range. Ridiculously bright though.

I have the HL 5X light and it is one bad ass flashlight. The only downside is the (outside of the flashlight, obviously) micro USB battery charging.

The 3/8 set looks like has a actual plastic hinged case but the next set looks like doesn't have hinges. Looks like has the type of cheap thin flexible plastic that ends up splitting after a while opening and closing? Am I rite? I could have seen it wrong. I want both sets but like for the cases to hold up because that's really nice tools and an investment so the cases should be good quality also. I discovered vim tools from your channel and have a few sets that is in the foam nice fitting trays that goes in tool chest drawers and really nice.

Regarding the VIM handles, would you say they have a softer outer skin and solid under that?
