This video shows a full run, no-death playthrough of Super C (aka Super Contra) for the NES. This game was released North America in 1990 and is the sequel to Contra.

same me too me too it was amazing old days when we was a kids i say to myself in this old time what games i will see in the future when i get my first pc before so long time ago when i play it this game as a kid it was amazing and i say to myself i someday will remembering this game again and now finaly that happedn i remember it was 2001 year i start school class 1 for first time and my granny send me gift on cartrige with 4 games inside and one of this games was this game it was amazing i remember now how i play her in my old tv with joystic it was amazing i wanna back it was so fun time to play this with friend :D today with friends we play in one room 4 people games on ps4 but is not the same like this nes game before before was something amazing to play this contra on nes for that i wanna back it was super gold days so true

I remember the summer holidays me and buddy first started with 30 lives co op mode. Eventually we understood how the different levels worked and got good enough to do it dying 1 or 2 times. Eventually we used to beat it multiple times a day on single player. I rememeber I had all the patterns memorised. We didnt have many games to play and this was the best one me and buddy had. Fun times.

Yeah, I love this game too. I remember that there was a cheat code for infinite lives if you press the control buttons a certain way before the main menu loads. It was real fun.

@@peterlu2754 The game has a 10 lives code, not infinite, not 30 (that was the original Contra, and the Japanese Contra III on SNES). Those of us who have owned a copy of the game for a few decades know this.

After all those deadly adventures, pushing ourselves to the limits, not giving in, and after the end of the last area it's really joyful seeing the troop going home in a helicopter with that emotional song.💯💯

When I first bought this not long after it came out, I struggled with it, mightily. Took me a bit to finally conquer the game in 1 credit consistently, but could never do it in one life. That honor went to the original NES Castlevania, and I've only done it once (most of my runs on that one were one credit, but the Grim Reaper stage tended to trip me up).

man i used to play this game with my late father when our family was less complicated. My country just got trade-ban lifted and me and him started to see what game can be and oh boy did we play together. i can't say i miss him since i was too young back then but i wish i could, at least just a little bit after this video

7:17 maybe this is insignificant, but I love the echo of those alarms, for a nes game this was a very good sound trick that adds a lot to the atmosphere. Also 18:05 H.R. Giger inspiration in full glory.

thats true how the times fly i was like 7 or 8 years old when i play this everyday and night but if you wanna play her you have internet stupid just play her like me from some website or install her on your tablet or phone and you will play her everywhere thats the cool thing for that today you have it her she is just in the websites you just need to know how to find her is so easy for that i play her now in retro website and is fun is just like in my old days but now just with kayboard not with controller and yeah the time fly so fast true i remember when i was so small kid i say to myself one day maybe i will wanna play her again and that day finaly come im big now but i play her in online websites is still amazing that rly takes me back to my old time when i play it her

Super C for Nintendo Entertainment System was released in Japan in February 1990, in North America in April 1990, and in Europe in 1992. I was 10 at the time of its original Japanese NES release. I was 8 at the time of the game’s original arcade release.

mega awesomeness to the max! I remember it on the NES too, and it was hard, not as hard as the arcade though... the coveted achievement of one credit clearing it in Mame seems impossible! Great work excellent video! thumbs up

Super C for NES was released in North America around the same my favorite Nintendo franchise Fire Emblem was established, and when Final Fantasy III, which was first released in North America in the form of a low-poly 3D remake on Nintendo DS, first came out in Japan.
