That is the exact chassis that is on the big Walmart crawler. I don't remember what it is called but it is adventure force brand. Even the transmitter looks similar. Edit: the Walmart one is only $50

That's exactly the comment I was going to make. It looks like that suspension works better than some vehicles that have real oil filled shocks. If I had grand kids, I'd have something like this in my collection. You couldn't even tell the steering wasn't proportional, nor would I have noticed it was all or nothing throttle if Nate hadn't mentioned both. Some toys are toys, and that's not all bad. Especially if it doesn't break the first time you run over a pebble, or bang into a wall or tree. When I first saw it, I thought it was the 9204E. I got my 9204E for $73, so maybe Nate and Abby could have thrown in a plug for that one. I'm sure they just recently reviewed it. Costs less and has a ton more features.

I bought one of these two months ago, I figured it wouldn't amount to much, mostly bought for the body and other parts which can be used on other projects I haven't thought of yet. You must have a 'junk' pile laying around. I have a junk tote, it's big. Most of this truck will end up there. Anyway, keep up the good work. Thanks...

I have a very similar truck with the price at 46 dollars it has the 2 motors for front and back just like this (jeep) but one good point on it is it has 4 modes of steering ,so the back wheels steer to if you so choose also the con with mine is it is a ni-ca battery 😥. I think it ran longer than yours did though and its fully waterproof proof, but it still lacks alot of hobby grade stuff and has alot at the same it's weird you probably seen it. It's the gizmovine bone crawler. The water proofing does work cause we drove it in our red clay Arkansas water filled swam hole my girlfriends so and I made and it would go deep and put A95-B'S would cut out.

The great thing about this unit with minimal work and customisation you can easily make it hobby grade. Get yourself a good brushed esc and servo with 2.4 remote and I bit it can crawl really well. Those motors will pull hard on a low discharge 2s lipo.

Dude even though its toy grade it's cool but it's all you got steering and throttle, you should try out the wltoys a969 its 1:18 scale and it goes about 55mph! You guys should try it I would enjoy seeing it on your channel

WL toys made a 10th scale crawler called the rock runner and sold it under the brand Action Force and they actually sold it at walmart. I bought one for my son about a year ago.

what you should have told us is whether it is upgradable or not, if it is, this is very nice for some people who like upgrading but otherwise only find cheap stuff that look bad

Nate , it is a nice looking truck , is too bad they didn’t put a little more thinking into it ! But I was some how satisfied Abby didn’t get any running time , It must be that she wasn’t to interested on this truck to snatch the control away from you , and you didn’t get interrupted , just kidding ! I'd rather spend the extra 80ish dollars and get the Rgt 86100. Now, if this was in the sub $100 price range, I'd consider it just as a fun project. A good ESC with dual sensored brushless motors would be interesting.

I have the same one (it's called adventure force, shitty Walmart brand), when it dies you have to turn it off and back on after s few seconds. I believe it maybe a overload protection? I've taken it through water and it's been completely submerged (after this, not before the battery problem was descovered) and it held up great!

Uh, I understand that it kinda works. I own a bunch of WLtoys stuff..but this one has the dual motor/steering adjustment. It's like my "Big feet ghost" Wraith rip off..no good.

What crap! That breaks my heart! New Brite quality there. Damn it! It does look so good. WL Really threw themselves under the bus on that thing. I still wouldnt pay $77 for that. You guys really save people money. I wouldn't buy that for my Grandson. That being said, I did buy an old Radio Shack unit, I couldnt help myself because I recognized it as vintage. Something from 1978 new in box? Yeah! I will let my grandson play with that. I did figure out how this happends though( because I do it) I think some old fart bought it as a present for a grandson, then hid it and forgot it. Then maybe the old coot died or something who knows. It got forgotten and eventually grandma passed or found it 45 years later and donated it. Enter some other old fart who buys it for THEIR grandson. Hopefully THIS old coot will remember to gift it before he croaks. Otherwise it could be sitting another 45 years.

Lmao I just bought a 60 dollar "rock crawler" at Target and its the EXACT same. Just has a different body shell and no lights. Crap steering. Hard tires. Servo screams in agony. No aftermarket or replacement parts that i could find. I zip tied the body to the frame so it doesn't move. Everything else is janky too tbh, but it's a blast and was worth the 60 bucks.

Also I get about 40 mins run time. BUT I have to give it a 1 minute break every 10 mins because it starts getting sluggish. It's the only rc truck I have that's ever had this issue.
