VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
In this video, I have covered some interesting lines in the so called Diemer Duhm Gambit, which arises from the French Defense. Interestingly enough, not only can this uncommon gambit be used against the French Defense but also against the Queen's pawn game. Enjoy!

Nice ! But you gotta play the ALAPIN GAMBIT if you want to play any gambit against the French. It is so easy to understand and so effective

@@kaspachessofficial Look forward to seeing if you have any new ideas! Most french players just hate having the white bishop placed there on e3 to scupper their usual set up. Then there is a nice simple structure for white to attack quickly. F file is open, white can often sacrifice a bishop or even the rook from the F file to get checkmate

@@kriszed5329 I've recently discovered the Alapin Gambit vs. French. There aren't many instructional videos on YT. Have you found any besides William Graf?

These gambits are cute but we are not anywhere near the skill of a GM so the moves recommended seem obvious to Kaspachess but for the rest of us (me especially) opponents never ever do what he predicts that they will and then it leaves me lost how to proceed. Kaspachess would do the community of lesser ranked players a lot of good if he would make some videos teaching how a GM actually thinks his way through a chess match. From there these gambits might actually be pretty fun.

I gat your point and I feel you. But when you check most of the chess videos that attract more views on KZfaq, you will understand that people don't come on KZfaq to watch those kinds of hard and seemingly boring stuffs. And that's why I have a website (www.kaspachess.com) where I post those kinds of theoretical videos in question. Most of my audience are beginners and intermediate level players who need to understand the basics first, before going for the hard GM-level stuffs. I humbly disagree with your statement that "I only recommend moves that people don't play." 1. I create all my videos using and following the Lichess DB and the Masters DB. 2. After creating a tutorial video, I always follow-up with a practical video where I test these gambits against real opponents. 3. I have received many positive feedbacks. Kindly check most of the comments in my other videos. 4. I regularly check other big chess channels as well to see what they cover and I find that they talk about the same stuff that I have posted before on my channel, but delivered in a different way, which is okay for me. Peace ✌️

After c4 de4 Nc3, two main moves are Nf6 and f5 .. and only after covering that ones you should mention about smth like Bb4 and other. This is what you called "hope chess" (in ex. semislav c6 - only 3 % of games, you simply wasted time to talk about that)
