Literally come back to your wrestling videos repeatedly and always learn something new. I add some of your style, moves and watch your timing and how you look at things i came here to get some ideas on how to escape on bottom and be more efficient with my shots and you delivered . I practiced 3x a week all summer at a club, went to every practice I could, with a belief in who I could become. I didn’t even wrestle at my upcoming tournament last year, because I wasn’t varsity during my first year of wrestling. Thanks to you, Cayden, as well as myself and many others, I’m going to go out there with a pursuit to win the entire thing.

Great job, Cayden. Your wrestling is so technically sound. When a 22-year old complains that he just doesn't bounce back like before, it shows just how physically brutal folkstyle is. I could see it with a lot of the Covid super seniors the last few years, where many of them showed the years of wear and tear at 24-25, going out on the mat all full of tape, braces, and harnesses.

I so understand what you are saying about age and recovery. At 18, 19, and even 20 I was just go-go-go. At 21-23, I felt beaten down after every practice and the next day I was carrying that exhaustion. Keep kill'n it! You're doing great.

adding on to what cayden said about wrestling tips and putting in the time if you’re a wrestler trying to take it serious your scheduled wrestling practices are the bare minimum every other wrestler is going to practice you won’t ever get the upper hand doing what everyone else is doing even going to the gym along with wrestling is better then just doing the practice but in the end technique will always beat strength so just work on your moves and getting comfortable in those uncomfortable situations y’all will become 10x better wrestlers

Head lever on top for when you need to stay on top. Riding time is crucial in tight matches.

Hey Cayden, I’m a freshman wrestler who jsut made varsity but I only have 1 year of experience under my belt as I got hurt last season and was out all season. For ur first match. Dude was on his heels. All day. Great ankle pics! Ur top needs work. U don’t have a pinning set up or ride out or tilt. Ur always just kind Amat returning or doing some claw. Bottom was patent and explosive which I liked! I notice you wrestle from space a lot. Diving ankle pics and doubles. Set things up and they’ll be there!

Slow down when you foam roll! The point is to stimulate the gogli tendon organ which causes a muscle to relax, when you go fast you excite the muscle spindles which causes a tightening reflex which is counter productive. It should be glacially slow so you can feel where the knots are and then you rest on those knots for 30 seconds.
