I won't lie, the SNES version you've displayed here is honestly the most interesting of the bunch seeing as it's basically the original NES graphics with the All-Stars music.

ZX verison looks very impressive. I was surprised that system could even do scrolling like this. And the sprites look decent, too!

X68K version used an internal speaker technology to give a sound, so even XMUI or XM6Pro couldn't properly emulate it. Same for TurboGrafx, game used internal speaker simulation using only two channels of the processor instead of doing sounds through the synthesizer.

@@Retromantra You're welcome. Again, I tried to use XMUI Loader mod for this game and XM6Pro emulator, it still launches the game without ANY sound.

They did both SX68000 and PCE a bad one; if someone competent enough would take their time to work a real port, it will surely surpass the NES no doubt. The ZX Spectrum feels like you're running against the wind. I really liked the way the title screen appeared on the Amiga port.

Excuse me crossy but the zx Spectrum version you saw here its an demo there is a full version of this game and everything is much faster and i think you need a 180k version if im not wrong

The Sharp one is an emulation, not a port.

The X68000 emulation/port hybrid came out around 1989 and is one of the first of it's kind. It's really impressive when taking that into consideration.

The Sharp X68K version used only two processor channels for internal speaker sound, it sounds not good, like PC Speaker in IBM PC at the full load.

SNES version. Yes you can patch nes mario and hacks into SNES roms it’s an emulator/patch program called nested . SNES pallet really makes a difference

for the sharp x68000 any mario related noise except for the power ups were strange to say the least. i wonder why the pitch and length couldnt change mid-sound

Am I the only one who liked how the Sega Genesis remixed the music? Edit: The instruments sound kinda gross, admittedly, but the compositions are pretty neat!

TurboGrafx16 is probably the best but, the noise sound (drums) is loud and the music is pitched up For the Sharp X68000, we still have a pitch problem and the background color for 1-1 is incorrect, and also some sounds make your ears bleed For the Amiga the game runs at barely 15 fps. No problems with the music tho SNES is just the original game with the All Stars music and sound effects The ZX Spectrum... well, that's the most it can do, considering its color limitation, and the music sounds like mario just died And at last the Genesis version has horrible controls, Mario moves like he's on ice but the music is decent.
