Nintendo was definitely feeling the pressure to do something that can't be done in Mario maker

It looks so crazy that it passes the line of uncanny twice and back to the realm of interesting, I'm in.

I don't know if Daisy necessarily opens up a lot of possibilities considering she's technically from mainline games and her inclusion was foreshadowed in Super Mario Run.

Why would Daisy open more opportunities for other characters? Shes in smash bros. she’s already in Super Mario run (mainline game) she has her power up band in Nintendo land (she’s the only other female to have one besides peach) Mario Luigi peach Daisy yoshi and toad are the only ones with power up bands at Nintendo land so clearly these characters are very important. Not even Rosalina or Donkey Kong have one. It’s clear that Daisy is a main character Nintendo will try to push more for other wise why would they have her so prominently in Nintendo land if they don’t even acknowledge her. Also take a look at the cast of Mario wonder and super Mario run and also the Nintendo land power up bands, all are consistent, Mario Luigi peach Daisy yoshi and toad. Seems like Nintendo has been working towards this cast for some time

Super Mario Bros. DRUGS

This is giving me some ideas for a game myself, although, I wouldn't want to be limited by 2D side scrolling. I'm thinking 3D action adventure like Spyro or Psychonauts, but have different collectibles give you powers that you can equip or put away, instead of losing with a single hit. And why not a water power, could do elementals and each one could have a different animal suit. Maybe turn into a dolphin with the water power.

It's not a New Super Mario Bros. game. Literally was so tired of New Super Mario Bros. because every game it reused the same texture and music from the Wii version, just different levels. And New Super Mario Bros 2 reused the same music from the original on the DS, but the coin aesthetic was just very lame. Very happy with this game. It's a NEW Mario game and I love any Mario game where you can actually play as Peach, so I know it's her getting her a** scooped up by Bowser like in every single game. This actually makes me really happy and I probably will be getting it. Super Mario 3D World is my favorite modern day Mario game because it's a new take on the story. I'm so sick of Mario games having the same story, definitely buying this game! :D

The power ups seem like they are actual psychedelics and we are all seeing how it affects Mario's perceptions of the world. Not a Fan of this.

The levels look gimmicky so it looks like it wouldn't be fun to go back through which the game looks like they have collectables so they're incentives exploration in a 2d platformer. It still looks to use world themes which would be fine as long as they're not linear Ground, Sandy, Beach etc. The powerups like what is this
