This video showcases all of the power-ups from Super Mario Bros. 1 in Super Mario Maker games.
This channel features instructional & highly edited video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns and other uniquely transformative videos. My own personal gameplay, extensive editing & creative input are clearly added into each video, ensuring that all videos adhere to KZfaq's partner program guidelines. My walkthoughs take tremendous amounts of work & editing so that all videos are straight to the point & can be used as professional video game guides. I have spent thousands of hours practicing & mastering games before recording to ensure the highest quality gameplay possible. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.

To the KZfaqr who made this masterpiece in Mario maker, if you are reading this comment I would just let you know what a fine presentation you have presented to all of us. It’s just like magic and throwing us all back and meeting up with friendly video game characters that we all know and love reappear from the past. 👏 On top of that you included Mario power ups and original Mario that pay homage to the original Mario games from old.

Easy, they don’t get copyrighted. They either get premission, or since mario is literally one of the greatest franchises of all time that they have authority to add almost anything in it. Or they already own the characters.

The power-ups in Super Mario Bros. in the original Super Mario Maker are WAY better in my opinion. I mean, sure, we have a Master Sword, and a fully working Super Mario Bros. 2 costume, but I would MUCH rather have hundreds of characters that don’t really do anything compared to two that do a-lot of things. And also, WHY IS THERE A MASTER SWORD IN SMM2? AND WHY IS LINK A CHARACTER IN MARIO KART 8/DELUXE? Link doesn’t need to be in every damn Mario game, might as well call it, “Nintendo Kart”, or, “Super Nintendo Maker”. And also, where is the damn Weird Mushroom, that was AMAZING! I remember going through all of those Nintendo Championship courses and finally getting that, good times. And last, the Big Mushroom, DAMN, HOW’D THEY SCREW THAT UP? In the original Mario Maker, (And when using the Classic Mario Colored 8-Bit amiibo) it was SO fun to make the screen have a CRT filter, all the enemies sported Mario-themed clothes and stuff, now we just have the “Modern” Mario 8-Bit amiibo, and all it does is make Mario big and change his outfit. (Which I’m pretty sure is what happened with the first game, but I digress. At least you had an option.) I feel like it would have made sense to put in the classic colors for the Big Mushroom, but then it would have been weird if they didn’t add any other of the other attributes. Or heck, let us choose between classic colors and modern colors. Whew! Anyways, rant over!
