The glitch still works it’s just hard to do . Tip once you get the scooter ramped on the M press forward on the joystick gently to walk it into the R .

@@caylanhutchinson3135 than you need to play the story of the game first! After the story ends there will be extra moons to get in every kingdom. One of them in this kingdom will be to place the letters in the correct order. En then you can try the trick!

The way I like to remember this glitch is to call it the RAM glitch because those are the letters you need, and because you have to ram the scooter into the M

Just tried this, only took me about 10 minutes to set it up correctly and execute it. Still works as of July 14th 2022. Thanks for the tutorial! It didn’t take me long at all to decide that I wanted an alternative way to complete the jumprope moon lol.

As I'm typing this, i'm on the R and got over 100 jumps. This was DEFINITELY worth it instead of having to do it "normally". I'm not experienced with glitches but I got out of bounds somewhat easily after several tries. It definitely didn't take me the entire day if anyone's worried about that Also to clarify, the M will move a little on it's own (when it's done right), but you still have to move it yourself into the R. Anyways, thank you guys for finding these and showing them off

I bounced off the M a lot when I jumped on it. Ended up aligning the O with the A and I, parallel to the M. This way I can get the glitch to work 9/10. Thanks for the video!

Just stopping by to say, I revisit this video every time I 100% odyssey, which is usually once a year. This video is still the most helpful tutorial on KZfaq, mostly because you explain that you really need to hop off the scooter at the last second rather than ride it onto the M. Thanks as always!

Holy crap this actually worked! My attempts took a bit longer than I care to admit but it was all worth it in the end. Now I got Mario sleeping on top of an R block while getting them jump rope points lol

It is possible. What I found really hard, though, was doing it on my Joy Cons. I play Mario primarily with the Joy Cons, but for very specific moons I tried the Pro controller and had some success. It's easier on the Pro controller to get those short quick hops in rapid succession. Honestly, I didn't find this one very hard. Some moons took me hours to get, and I had read the reputation of this one, so I was surprised I got it within a few attempts, but I think it's critical to have a really good feel for your controller with buttons that react very specifically to your presses. I think I could do a hundred attempts on the Joy Cons and fail to succeed. Also, I should add that I didn't blink after I got to 50. It was painful, but I assure you it's doable.

Ricardo Santos leave the metro kingdom and go to the cascade kingdom then go back and the letters should reset and be free again.

I’m so happy this still works! I gave up trying to 100% Odyssey 2 years ago because of this moon! You have saved me so much stress, I have an anxiety disorder and things like the rope challenge really trigger it for some reason so I’m so glad I don’t have to subject myself to that anymore!

If you leave the Letter there and you get out they will say “can you move that, please?” So it registers that there’s something there

Thanks a lot! I was starting to get crazy with this moon and all the tips the people say about it. Jumping with the motorbike doesn´t work for me, and juping when the girl says "hey" is impossible after 50 jumps. Much better this way! I didn´t spent more than 15 minutes with the glitch. Still working in 2021.

I would recommend moving the bike after you have the M clipped into the R. If you move the R wrong after it you capture it the momentum of the bike can send you flying across the map. I ended up clipping into the shop loading zone.

I used the 2 player trick for the volleyball and just used Assist Mode on Darker Side mainly so I could get more attempts at later sections without having to do the entire level over. I’ll probably go back to Darker Side and do it legit later on, but I just wanted to get 100% off my chest.
