Thank you so much this still works! I'm new to playing this game and was getting annoyed with the grinding. Kept the first 4 then sold a lot. So not only did I make money by selling them I got 4 for free! Thank you so much again

Sadly, this method only works with the register you are given at the start as it is considered a permeant part of the store.

I personally have not tried this with multiple. But it should still work on the original register only

It's not patched, and you don't need to throw anything. As long as you sell your original cash register and re-enter the game, it will always be there, while your money amount will not be deduced.

Yeah, but you have to do all of them. I had two cash registers, and one of them had a cashier, and when I removed one of them and did it, the cashier just moved to the other one, so I had to do both of them and it duplicated so it works.

I found it but I'm sure other people found it on accident too. I found it the first hour of release.

I have never encountered this. You should be able to sell it after to pickup the boxed up register after duplicating it. Make sure you are selling the one outside not inside.
