When I played this game as a kid, this part terrified me. There's something so frightening about having to constantly go room to room before Mimi comes in as a giant spider to kill you.

I was freaking traumatized as a kid, whenever I would see the Mimimimini text appear on screen, I would be screaming in horror Don't even get me started on the way she transformed, that neck snap sound effect has been drilled into my head, along with the animation of her transforming (those souless eyes yo-)

Count Bleck's gang kinda reminds me of some circus. O'Chunks is the strongman, Dimentio is the jester of clowning around, and Mimi is the contortionist.

The constant change of voice is definitely adapt to someone called the Shapeshifter. Melodiva did such a great job making Mimi sound both cute and ruthless at the same time. Love those high notes! Also, I guess "Three cheers for count" will be a line included in every minion song like "Breath of the Wild" was in the Zelda Bytes.

Mimi is so interesting. In the game it’s hinted that mimi could be a failed Pixel created by the Ancients or the creation of a witch whom experimented with shape shifting potions. In her spider form she has a purple, messy speech bubble, that same speech bubble is used by The Shadow Queen in TTYD, who was also a witch with an association with Dooplis, one of her followers who can also shape shift. Was Mimi accidentally created by The Shadow Queen using potions derived from Dooplis’ powers? Oh, she’s also based off of “The Thing”, as if we needed anymore nightmare fuel...

Very fitting for accompanying that freaky purple textbox XD Her regular voice is great, too, and is pretty much exactly how I imagined her sounding like: Super cheery and childish, but laced with some serious sadistic undertones. I always thought she was more of a construct than a robot. In game theories hint to her being an accidental creation, kinda like Frankenstein’s monster. She’s also based off of the classic horror film, “The Thing” in which one of its most notable appearances in the film is a grotesque, upside down face on several spider legs. That’s sounds a lot like our favourite cutesy, shape shifting, nightmare fuel, friend over here.

I'm currently on my first playthrough and faced her for the first time the other day. Her transformation is quite possibly one of the most terrifying things I have scene in a Mario game. Even worse was she chased you throughout the level. Multiple jump scares.

Yes I've been waiting for this one I think Mimi's song might be my favorite so far, now we just have two more Nastasia and Mr L.(aka Luigi but brainwashed) Also I like the pictures as the song goes on 1:30 Peach, Tippi, and Slim are running from Mimi also I like Slim's ruction to her 2:15 Peach is using Thoreau to throw toilet paper at Mimi which I find really funny, and we can see Merlee behind the door cheering Peach on and helping her beat Mimi 1:20 and 2:07 Lastly I don't why in the game when you see Mimi in her true form and flip as Mario she has gears around, because she isn't a robot because she doesn't act like one
