A big thank you to Ridge.com for sponsoring this video! The first day in Osaka was a very eventful one. Spending the day visiting the temples and the sites; especially the street food. But after a while of wondering the streets of Osaka, it was time for dinner and time to catch the nighttime skyline of this wonderful city. And what better place to get a panoramic view than on one of the top floors of the ‪@ConradOsaka‬ Hotel. And it gets even better because there is a "Super Seafood" Buffet with free flowing drinks being offered.
It is fairly expensive at $90USD. Will it be worth it. Can it live up to it's counter parts such as the buffets of Vietnam and Vegas? Well I intend to find out. Thank you so much for joining me and let's find out together!

@@TimLeeLetsGo the Hyatt, Marriott, and Hilton hotels in mainland China have got the most surreal buffets going on. Tim you are stud for pickin this location out but this buffet really dropped the ball. Also, just lots of not kosher food items which doesn’t work for me.

Hey Tim, Nihon yokoso!! Welcome!! Didn`t think you would make it out here. If you make it to Tokyo, I would recommend Shamim. It`s an Israeli restaurant in Ekoda - a couple stops from Ikebukuro on the Seibu Ikebukuro line - with an all-you can eat option (3400yen) It may not be video worthy, but it is a quaint joint with decent food. As I only live like 8 stations away in the other direction it is a go to for me. And it might be a nice change from hotel buffets!!

Do you mean prosciutto? Tim said it was Spanish ham which would be Iberico or Serrano. Prosciutto is an Italian ham. All three of these are uncooked, unsmoked, dry-cured ham from the upper leg of the pork. No pork belly here. Also, salmon is far from the cheapest fish on the market. I come from British Columbia Canada where we have tons of salmon. It's not even the cheapest here.

Definitely doesn't even come close to the food you experienced in Vietnam! I'm still thinking about those buffets lol.

hi tim, tfs oska hilton buffet.. for $90 is abit pricey for what you get..the overall food looks average with food like potatoes, cauliflower and dried meat looks cheaply supplied with high price tag maybe for the views. i have to say vietnam buffet standard is defintely higher than this...in comparison hilton standard def not up to scratch...but still a fabulous review from you without comparison.. which is impeccable for a foodie ytuber. thank u 😊

I didn't see much seafood, unfortunately. Some of those things were definitely sitting under the lamp too long... I'm guessing they were close to the end of service.

Tim: buffet with kind of slim pickings! Old & dry fish with hard duck is not a nice $90 deal! The desserts were good but could not make up for a ¥129,000 bill!

It was quite a surprise, and I was expecting a little more from a higher end Hilton establishment… happy to say that the food and buffets get better and better in Japan.

Sorry Tim, this is one of saddest and not an appetizing food at a buffet I ever seen.Your Vietnam’s buffets were amazing.

I was a bit surprised as well because this is from one of the higher end hotels. The service from the staff was kind of the saving grace. Generally the kitchen typically replenishes items relatively quickly so that one can catch it on the next round. This didn’t happen here unfortunately. I made the reservation for 630 or seven so it might’ve been a bit late as well. Rest assured the food, and the buffets in Japan gets better and better.😀

It helps me to avoid dining there when I visit Osaka. Food looks ordinary at the best. And the selection is so limited.

Tim you are very polite but that buffet was pretty lacking in "seafood". No Lobster, Crab or even prawns and oysters. just rendered versions of some of these.. I guess food costs in Japan are very high compared to vietnam. Also where is the fois gras?

Agreed! It was quite different than its counterparts in Vietnam. Some dishes were good, but I was actually a little surprised about the quality of some of items available. Just missed the mark for me.
