Oh yes! Definitely, if you have some. It's fascinating (and sometimes frustrating!) fabric to work with. I love the effect of layering to see the changes of colours.

An absolutely fantastic tutorial! Plenty of information as well as lots of inspiration. I got this bit of fabric with various motorcycle photos printed on it as part of a joblot on ebay and I did not know what to do with it. Now I can try to put them in some sort of a city landscape. I really, really enjoyed this video. I learned a lot. I love how on the 2nd quilt you have the willows all the way to the edge of the quilt. Did you just bind three sides & face the bottom? Looking forward to more tutorials & thread sketching.

Yes, I added the border before stitching the hay (willows are a great idea!), then stitched to the edge. After stitching, the edges were finished with a blind facing, just like adding a facing to an edge when dressmaking. Glad you enjoyed the video!
