no, for games like MK8 its a one time done kind of thing, for hyrule warriors its gives you loot every time you use it. not to mention with how portable the 3Ds is you can use this on multiple amiibos every time you visit the store, Nintendo plans to make these initial figures last and so having an easy way to just come and use them is a nono, Smash Bros is the only foreseeable games that will actually save data requiring you to use it each time if you want any benefit.

you see, i get what your saying about the whole "playing properly" but honestly the game is pretty simple for controls. direction + A = Normal moves/ Direction + B = Special Moves. R = Block / L = Grab. X OR Y = Jump. so basically you can move your analog stick in any direction and hit and it's a move. And a fundamental thing that FRASER even points out is that *UP* + *B* is your recovery move, for when you fall of the stage. Something that they didn't know is that you can power up your A attacks or "Smash" attacks (if Im correct) so if someone is at 100% or even 80% you can do, Direction + HOLD A, to send them flying or even fly off screen and instantly die. Honestly, the control combinations are REALLY REALLY simple. This is coming from someone who hasn't played Brawl, 3Ds or WiiU, i did play Melee and 64 but had no concept of what i was doing because i never asked nor did i even have the game for my self to learn. I played with my friends who had the game and destroyed me. Now years later i learned the basics without even touching the game, and i feel dumb for not understanding before. IT'S REALLY SIMPLE. Direction + A or B is a move. that's all you need to know for attacks. (and yes, obviously moves will change when in the air) (btw i'm not bashing Fraser and the crew, i can understand how confusing it could be, especially with 5 people playing at once just fucking around and having fun.
