I may seem expressionless in this episode, but my makeup would crack if I smiled, so I tried not to move my face too much! I did have TONS of fun though! And, just for the record, I regret not painting both my ears. Kinda takes away from the costume when you see my non-painted ear. (Just needed to express that! But I did love all the costumes.)

FYI: We start picking characters at 6:15 and playing our first round at 8:35. Of course the previous stuff is all gold as well, but wanted to include this for those who want to jump into the game action!

Wicked costume Becky!! A little tip, I don't know what's the name of it in Canada but do you know in birthday parties when there's someone who paints the children's faces? Hearts, butterflies, flowers, heroes' masks, things like that. The paint they use would probably be more comfortable if you wanted to paint your whole face again, it's non-toxic cause it's for the face and mainly children, it doesn't crack, it's super easy to apply, there's a bunch of colors and it smells delicious ^~^. I did a Sugar Skull and went to the gym and even after working out it didn't come off or smudged too much so it'd probably work great for the show :) It is a pain in the butt to take off if you don't have makeup remover, though 'OTL

Its really refreshing to see people play smash who've never played it before rather than having them now the entire game left and right. It adds a bit of fun watching them discover how the game works.

It's so fun to see people who are new to smash and see them react to items, moves and basically everything

Great episode! All I hoped it would be. And Becky did a great job with costumes. I thought we only would see previously used costumes with maybe some small alterations on some, which would have been more than enough. Instead she made three new ones (four if you include Baby Hank).

Great show guys! It's a shame you didn't play 4 player for a bit to see some of the other stages, but 5 player games don't come round that often so I suppose it's too big of an opportunity not to get everyone playing at once. Even with the limited stage choice, you still managed to not play Gaur Plains, haha, but great show anyway.

That last round with Deacon vs Frash was glorious.

I love that Fraser still uses Frash as his name. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Frash, there's two Kid Icarus stages for the same reason there's three Kid Icarus characters and three Kirby characters. Sakurai is behind Smash and Kid Icarus.

SMASH a direction + hold A to do a SMASH attack. From that sentence alone, you should be able to quickly figure out the difference between Normal attacks, SMASH attacks, and special attacks soon after. Given that this entire mechanic is in the name of the game, I was really surprised that the chat kept saying that to use Ness's bat was "Side A" or "Tilt right + A", which is just a bit misleading.

I have to keep telling myself that is Baby Hank and not an actual official Villager doll. It looks EXACTLY like him.

Before you guys pick up smash again you should 1) learn how each item works. 2) that every character has an Up+B as a recovery move 3) smash attacks. All in all im enjoying this series more than the Brawl one.

I'm watching this right after watching them play Brawl from 3 years ago. And of course Ben wins the first match, just like he won almost all the matches back then. :) Someone is a secret smash player.

I got lucky and got an order for the bundle. The gamecube controller is the only way to play the game after all.. I really lucked out. The bundle is sold out everywhere, but I was able to get one through Walmart, just before they sold out.
