ah they use my best favorite music from Lost World for Dire Dire Docks, i'm very happy. anyway this is a great mod and looks very fun, although Sonic definitely broken for Bowser boss fight because he can going around a lot more fast compared to Mario.

definitely trade offs. Sonic can get stars in unique ways but his speed can get you killed and he isn't great in water with the Mario health system

So what criteria is required for a shard to instead be a chaos emerald, at least before it’s picked up? It’s either being a secret star, or being a 100 coin (or ring in this mods case) star.
