Wow, great score. Very high tech for this era. Panasonic was good for me. I owned some of their higher end "Technics" equipment. PS, my Sony NC675P is working great.

Nice video, I found it while looking for ways to fix this exact model of DVD/VHS player. I don’t know why it’s even broken. Maybe I’ll ask my dad and he’ll tell me what’s wrong. It’s from my much younger years and the CRT that was with it is probably in a trash heap while we only have one of the two speakers. Maybe I’ll fix it up once I get even older and use it for playing older formats.

Update: I found out that the only thing broken is the analog display. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Awesome Find there. Maybe try a universal remote with the unit. My panasonic NV-870 does not have a date written on the back, same as this unit

Hi, are in your country Omnivision common? Because i'm from Europe, Czech Republic and there is Super Drive most common Panasonic VCR. We don t have Omnivision in our country, because it is NTSC, we in europe have PAL. I'm interest about vcrs too. I have a broken Panasonic NV-FJ622, but i have a fully working Mitsubishi HS-MX1, Panasonic NV-HV60 and NV-SD235. Thanks you are doing videos about VCR. :-)

Can that unit play Video CD, Divx, or Kodak Picture discs? A lot of DVD players from the era all could.

I have a better version of that home theater system and had that one as well i also have 4 Subwoofers connected to it 2-15 1-10 and the Subwoofer it came with and extra surround sound speakers and it bumps more then most cars i also put a bigger fan myself so it won’t over heat

Pretty cool, does your machine have a 5 disc DVD changer too? Also, I used to have a Samsung HT-TZ515 home theater system with a carrousel 5 disc DVD changer, we bought it in 2008, and in 2012 we replaced the fan because it was noisy. In 2016, it stopped working so we threw it out.

Mr Magnétoscope yeah it has the 5 disc dvd changer its the panasonic SA-HT720 model I don’t use the DVD player tho I only use the aux output to play music off my phone and to connect it to my flat screen to watch blu ray movies on it or play my ps4 pro it sounds amazing
