Gotta love how, despite his intimidating appearance, Zangief is one of the nicer characters in the game. Also, Abel's reaction to what Zangief was telling him was priceless. XD

i think zangief is the most satisfying character to use.. sometimes u put up with a lot of keepaway from opponents but it feels really good to slam them into the ground when u finally reach them.. his ultra 2 is the most satisfying move imo

Even though the CPU is on hardest, for some odd reason it still throws a hissy fit against grapplers and can't figure them out, so characters like Zangief, Abel and T. Hawk can break the AI with repeated grapples. Just the way it is.

I just beat SSF4 with Zangief today. His double Lariet is just handy. Ok so, when Abel charges you with Ultra, just jump over him and Zangief will either Atomic buster or grapple with normal moves.

I believe you. I'm a B- player at best and even I could destroy this game on hardest. The A.I. does the same stuff it did back in SF2. You can see Ryu is about to throw a fireball so you jump over it and with a character I've never played much I can connect with something. Not to mention you can do cheap stuff like timed tripping. If you know the patterns then it doesn't matter who I pick. And if I do pick someone I'm good with everytime the cpu misses I know how to punish for high damage.Playing real people is a lot harder cause they don't always do the same old readable patterns and at least can surprise you if you try the same crap over and over.I'm a fan of Zang as he makes it look so easy, just when you think you won he wipes you out with a few moves.

The computer is a joke even on the hardest setting. The only reason I could think to see to fight the CPU is if you have no internet and no one in your city to play.

serialkillerwhale In SF4 you can perform piledrivers using a 270 motion even though the game calls it a 360. I walk forward and then do a fast 270 going diagonal down forward, down and when I reach back jump I simultaneously press punch.

Mahmoud Musta To do Zangief's super without jumping do a quick 720 while a move like green hand or dash is active. The move for the super has to end when the move's animation ends. For example, Practice doing a focus attack and dash forward while doing a 720. When the dash ends you end the move and the super comes out. You will need to practice to get the timing right but it is not very difficult.
